Update: As of 9/21, the second Weis Catalina is no longer printing.
Weis has a deal on Del Monte Fruit this week. When you purchase $15.00, you’ll get $4.00 oyno from Del Monte and you will also get a $4.00 oyno from Weis. The shelf price for Del Monte Canned Fruit is $1.69, but they are on sale for $1.00 each.
A couple of quick notes:
I am not 100% sure why this is printing. There is a national Del Monte Catalina deal here that seems to be printing with another $4.00 catalina from Weis. I cannot guarantee this will work for you – however, Natalie did go to Weis and test it. You can see above that it worked for her. She did attempt to roll it and it was a wonky transaction, so I cannot confirm if the catalinas will roll.
The catalina triggers on shelf price (as per usual check your shelf price).
Here is your deal
Buy (9) Del Monte Fruit $9.00 each ($16.90 shelf price)
Pay $9.00
Get $4.00 oyno coupon from Weis
and get $4.00 oyno from Del Monte
$1.00 or $.11 each after catalina
If you prefer to do the deal on sales price:
Buy (10) Del Monte Fruit $15.00 each ($16.90 shelf price)
Pay $15.00
Get $4.00 oyno coupon from Weis
and get $4.00 oyno from Del Monte
$.70 each after catalina
Thanks, Andrea for this great deal!

WHAT DOES OYNO STAND FOR?

Janet says
I called Catalina and the Del Monte sponsored portion of the deal for the manufacturers ended 9/21. The Weis Rewards for the other is still good.
Kathy says
Dang it !!! Was going to fit it in this weekend.
Kel says
Only one catalina (Weis $4) printing now in Thurmont, MD. It was good while it lasted!!! lol!
Sarah Miller says
I was in store around 8pm and did one transaction of fruit and got both CATS, this morning at 9am i did 2 transacations and one the weis CAT printed, while couponnetwork still has the offer up on their site… I guess they want to go by sale prices now… oh well great deal I think i got 28 cans under 5 bucks :)
paco says
DelMonte catalina didn’t print 9/22 8:15 am. on what was a qualifiying purchase earlier in the week. So that part of the deal may have changed? Bought 9 cans of fruit at 1.69 shelf price, 1.00 sale price. $4 Weis cat printed, but not the DelMonte. Deal worked at same store earlier in the week, so something changed, it seems, unless there was a fluke to my transaction. Just a heads up for readers…
Shannon says
Paco,
Thanks, updating the post now!
Jeff says
I’ve been doing this deal all week but this morning I only received the Weis $4 not the Del Monte. Anyone else?
Deborah H says
As of 8 am this morning, it is only printing the Weis $4 cat – did it twice to check it out… and only got the one $4 cat. Glad for it while it latest, but was hoping it would go all week!
Nichole says
As of 7 AM Thursday, only the Weis catalinas (not the Del Monte) are printing in Burnham, PA. I used the exact same numbers as I did on Tuesday when both printed.
Susie says
Went to the Weis in Chambersburg tonight and did the soup deal…and the woman in front of me did the fruit deal, so it’s still working! I may have to make another trip :)
Emily says
Not sure what went wrong, but I went to my local weis this evening, bought 9 del monte mixed fruit (shelf price I believe was $1.69) and nothing printed. When I inquired about nothing printing, they told me I had to spend $10 to get 1 $2 cat. The best they could do since I’d already paid was give me $2 cash after purchasing one more can at $1. bummer.
Erica says
Hello fellow couponers-
Does anyone know if this has worked at the Willow Street,Pa Weis or the bridgeport one? I’m nervous to try it but I’m going to at 3pm
Erica
Amanda P says
worked at willow street for me earlier in the week on fruit and tomatoes. Did vegies today and nothing printed. I might try the fuit/tomatoes again tonight. I’m planning on doing 9 tomatoes and 1 fruit ($15.10 shelf, $10 OOP).
Erica says
Thanks. I did go and get 63 cans of fruit (shelves were well stocked and I only cleared the mandarin oranges which had 5 left). UGH I am mad at myself that I didn’t go to another Weis and get more of the No Sugar Added fruit. I was going to go today but now the deal isn’t on. This definately will teach me to go full force when the deal is on because now I don’t really want to buy them for .55 a piece when I got them for .11 earlier.
Carolyn says
Ok, I think I need help & more coffee! ;) I’ve read everything in this post 3 times and my brain just isn’t registering the numbers tonight (am) for some reason.
So if my Weis, (Gap,PA) goes by self price. I need to buy 9 cans of fruit and/or veggies and will pay $9.00 oop and will recieve two $4 cats. one from Weis for buying $15.00 which is actually $16.90 self-price & one Delmonte correct?
And if my Weis goes by sales price, I need to buy 15 cans @$1.00 each to recieve both cats?
So, I guess I need to test the “self-price” theory 1st. right?unless some wonderful fan of FTMs already knows this info ;) for the Gap, Pa Weis.
LOL- Wish me luck, it’s going to be an interesting 7am shopping trip..haha
thanks
Carolyn
Carolyn says
Please disguard the above.
Ok, after a cup (pot) of coffee, I went to Weis, it worked on self-price. YAY! lol
As always,
thanks for all you do Shannon!!!
Carolyn
Stacy says
It worked for me in Lebanon Pa and for my parents in Harrisburg Pa. I was able to do 6 transactions and got the catalinas EVERY time – WHOOT WHOOT!!!
Jenn says
Just read this, ran out to Weis (North/Central PA) and it is still working! It is running on SHELF PRICE so beware that the shelf price is different for the fruit than it is for the veggies (I totally forgot this until I was at the register and she was ringing me up). Mandarine Oranges were wiped out but I’ll be going back to see if they have restocked! Did seperate transactions and got the 2 $4.00 Catalinas each time.
Thank you so much for this one.
Sharon says
I wouldn’t count on finding many mandarin oranges… they had a bad crop and so there’s a shortage.
Bill says
Just got back from my Weis store, where the shelf price on the canned fruit is $1.89. Which means I only need to buy 8 (1.89 x 8 = 15.12). So I bought 8 cans, paid 8 dollars, and got two $4 off coupons… which means my canned fruit is free! Did two transactions tonight, both printed out the coupons. Spoke with the manager and ordered 6 more cases (total of 144 cans) for pick up later this week! Stocking up for myself, and also going to donate to our local food bank. Can’t beat that deal!
cheryl says
Thanks so much for all your work in finding these deals and posting them!
Weis scenerio:
9 Del Monte cans fruit =pd $9 and got $8 in catalinas
Used my $8 in catalinas for another 9 cans
+ Tetley tea, Gold Peak tea, 2 Kraft Big Slice Pkgs (coupons and on sale) and paid total of $7 or $8 after catalinas =)
Note: Had trouble both times (2 stores) that I used both catalinas during checkout and machine froze and was issued a gift card for $8 each time. Better to use the regular checkout!
Ethan says
Did anyone find out for sure that the pineapple is not included? TIA
Holly says
The fruit deal is still working at Lanc. Weis. I went back for another round. I did have trouble with a can of apricots so I switched it out for peaches. I went back and looked and they didn’t have the sale price on apricots??
Jeremy says
worked for me late last night after midnight… bought 9 canned fruits and got the (2) $4 Cats
k says
Just tried this in MD and it worked with 7 (4/5 here, not 10/10) fruits. Thanks for the heads up! I have passed this deal onto a family member who isn’t doing well, and a friend who takes care of ailing grandparents who live in a hotel. Really appreciate every food deal you share!
@ginger- do you remember what coupons you used? Always trying to keep a look out for canned goods/low prep foods for the above mentioned families. Thanks.
SherrieB says
I also wanted to mention that whenever I have a large Catalina at Weis, they always have to get a manger to override. So when rolling these, you will need a manager for every transaction. I always assumed that it was b/c it was over a certain amount – say larger than a $2.00 coupon. Tonight the FEM told me that it will do that when the Catalina is over 10% of the remaining total. The Del Monte coupon goes through no problem, it is the Weis coupon that needs an override each time.
Nicole says
I found that for me it’s worth getting up 15 minutes early and going before work. No one is in the store and the cashier has the manager override key. I went after work and it took me forever b/c the manager was busy. Then I went a 5:00AM and was in and out and I did about 10 transactions!
SherrieB says
This deal is such a Godsend – I’ve been anxious about stocking up on canned fruit for the winter since we have 4 kiddos and homeschool, I love it for lunches. I got 36 items between diced tomatoes, veggies, and fruit. $10 oop!! (that’s $.28 each!) I always use the petite cut diced tomatoes in recipes, and how can one resist such cheap veggies – even the sliced potatoes and such are included! What an inexpensive way to donate to those in need as well!! Thanks so much for posting, Shannon!
Melis says
Is the fruit deal rolling? Can I use both cats on my next trans. of 9 cans of fruits and still get 2 more cats to print? TIA
Jeremy says
Can anyone confirm if this is still working tonight? Going after work at midnight to do the fruit deal. Thanks
Heather S says
In Lancaster, PA I was able to get 9 fruit and 11 vegetables in separate transactions. For each transaction I got back two $4 catalinas. Thanks for the post! This will be great for the upcoming winter.
Maria Cordero says
I got 12 cans of the vegetables but only got back 1 $4 & 1 $2. My shelf price was 1.25 so I’m not sure what I did wrong. Still a good deal
Ginger from Reading says
Today at Weis I got 5 Del Monty fruit cocktails, 5 cans of Del Monte Tomatoes and 5 cans of Del Monty Veggies and I got 2 $4 Q’s. Also…just wondering what other pay for canned soup??? I stocked up on Campbells today…got 36 cans-saved $12 instantly and used coupons that doubled…most of my cans were the Select Harvest soups and when I did the math it came out to 50 cents per can…newer to couponing and haven’t been through the winter sales yet. Need some advice…should I wait for for better deals to use the rest of my soup coupons?
Nicole says
Get what you think is a good deal. After you stock up then you can be more picky on what you pay. At least this has worked for me!
sheri grennille says
i can’t wait to try it on the broth tomorrow; i hope it continues to work! thank you all for the scenarios!
Kara says
I’m really confused (sorry in advance!)..at my store (Westminster, MD) the ad says that the fruit and tomatoes are 4/$5, but the veggies and soup are 10/$10. So in order to get the 2- $4 cats, I need to get 9 of the fruits (9@$1.25 each = $15) or 15 of the soups/veggies (15 @ $1 each = $15)? Or does it go by the shelf price not the ad price?
Shannon says
shelf price.
Sharon says
I did this deal in Marriottsville, MD today on peaches. The shelf price was $2.29 and the sale price $1.25. Bought 7 cans – $8.75 OOP and $8.00 back. I’ll take it! Going back to try and roll the coups. Might try the Campbells soup deal too.
Can’t thank you enough, Shannon, for posting this. I usually can about 40 pints of peaches over the summer, and then put them in my kids’ lunches throughout the school year. But I never had time to tackle it this year. So, this deal is PERFECT for my family. I’ll stock up for the year. Even SWEETER – the price (and the work!) is a whole lot less than if I bought fresh and canned them myself.
Nicole says
I did it in Marriottsville, md too on my way home from work. Only had to buy 7 cans fo fruit b/c the shelf price was MUCH higher than at my local weis and therefore, got a really low price of less than 11 cents!!!
They roll find you just have to get a manager override and at least when I was there they had the best cashier and manager :) Good luck!
Nicole says
Look at all my typos. U get the point though, lol!
allie says
Worked for me in Lebanon, PA. Great~!
Andrea Jerome says
For anyone interested, this is also working with the broth and fruit cups. Shelf price for both at my store was 2.59, so deal was 6*$2 = $12, get 2*$4 cats back, or $4 for 6.
Sharon says
Yay! I hadn’t thought about doing it for broth. I’m all out of chicken broth and no good sales in my area for chicken this week, so I can’t make my own… but we are in the mood for soup! Yay.
Lisae says
@ Lynn Greenway – this must be what happened to me. I split my order in 3. 10 cans of veggies gave me two $2 catalinas. Second order of 10 cans of fruit gave me two $4 catalinas. I wish i knew that i needed 12 – could have spent $2 more, but gotten $4.00 additional in catalinas!
Megan says
I did the deal on the veggies and it worked when you bought 11 cans and 9 cans for the fruit. The shelf price just has to be over 15 dollars.
Megan says
Worked for me in Harrisburg this morning, and worked fine to mix fruit, veggies, and/or tomatoes within one transaction that added up to the $15 shelf price.
Also, you may want to check the school supply/stationery section. I happened to find they had some things marked as discontinued, and they were 90% off. I got several boxes of Prang markers for 39 cents each. I can’t remember everything they had, but I know there were rulers, hole punches, and lead refills for mechanical pencils.
Melissa says
I am soooo excited about this deal!!! Has anyone tried it with the fruit cups yet? I bought 18 cans of fruit in 2 transactions & got 2, $4 catalinas both times. Thanks!
Lynn Greenway says
I just did this at my Carlisle, PA (cumberland county)store, it worked on fruit, veggies and tomatoes. To get the $4 catalinas you have to buy: fruit in multiples of 9, veggies in multiples of 12 and tomatoes in multiples of 13. That give you fruit for $0.11, veggies for $0.33 and tomatoes for $0.31.
Anna says
Deal still working around 8:30 this morning.
sara says
Worked for me at lunch today…bought 10 cans of FRUIT– and received 2 $4 cats back ;) I also did the Campbell soup deal- my pantry is busting at the seams! Ready for the first cold spell.
Loni says
I got a good deal on the cambell’s soup. I bought 12 Healthy Request Cream of chicken soups for $1 ea….they had a deal where when you buy 12, you get $2 off instantly. I used (4) .40/3 Healthy Request Campbell’s soup coupons which they doubled…SO i paid $6.80 for all 12 cans….56ea…Not bad for cooking soups I think!!!
Holly says
Whoo hoo. Worked for me. The fruit didn’t even had the sale price ($1.69 self) so I went back and double checked the add and had them check the price at customer service. I got 9 fruits, got the 2- $4 cats, then went back and did the deal again along with Campbell’s soup.
Amy says
What is the campbell soup deal? thanks for any help!!!
sara says
I attempted the veggie deal also without thinking- bought 10 cans…and got a 2.00 cpn back :) Bummer but will be going again today to stock up on more fruit and veggies!!!
Heather says
We did this last night at Weis in Lancaster. We bought 15 cans of fruit, just to be sure that the deal worked. We got two $4 cats–one from Del Monte and one from Weis. My husband is going again today on his lunch break to try it with the shelf price!
Also, the catalina machine printed out info on this catalina:
Buy any 3 or more Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats, Crunchy Nut and/or Kellogg’s Raisin Bran cereals (15 oz or larger, any flavor, mix or match) between 9/18/2011 and 10/8/2011 and save up to $4.00 on one gallon of milk (any brand, any flavor) on a future order with coupon.
Kelly says
The veggies were actually shelf price $1.39 at my Weis in Lancaster County so I only needed to buy 11. $.27 per can!! Awesome deal, I’ll be going back tonight for some more veggies and hopefully some mandarin oranges.
Laura K says
Kelly,
Did you do this deal today? Headed out at lunch and just wondering if it is still working?
Thanks,
Laura
Erin says
My husband, who is not so into couponing, went into Weis tonight to do this deal for me. I stayed in the car to feed our screaming baby. He came out of the store smiling. I thought something must have gone wrong. Instead, it turns out he got an $8 off Enfamil coupon with the $8 off cats, which is the formula we use. He couldn’t stop talking about what a good deal he got!! :)
Rebecca says
That’s awesome! I took my not-so-coupon-crazy husband, too, and he was soooo pumped about how much food we got for a few bucks!
Shannon says
woohoo! I love that Rebecca. Scoring a fantastic deal just makes you smile a little on the inside..
Robin says
My flyer has the fruit 4/$5 and the vegetables at 10/$10. It sounds like some of you have the opposite?
ShannonW says
Our Ad in central PA has the Del Monte veggies (11-15.25 oz), $10/10, and the fruit(14.5-15.25) $10/10, as well as Tomatoes $10/10 and Del Monte Cups 2/$4, and college Inn broth 2/$4 all as part of the get $2 oyno when you buy $10, or get $4 oyno when you buy $15.
I wonder if i need to go back and see if the tomatoes or fruit cups work tomorrow with the extra cats printing!
Robin says
That strange. Didn’t realize Weis ads were so different. The vegetables are 4/$5 in my ad.
Robin says
I just checked the online flyers and the Hagerstown, Md store has the prices I listed above. But in the Chambersburg, Pa ad, they are all 10/$10. Looks like I’m shopping in Chambersburg this week. lol
Shannon says
Robin,
MD ads vary from PA ads. Are you looking at a MD ad?
jennifer l kerns says
Does anyone know if it works in martinsburg wv? or hagerstown md?
Sharon says
Don’t know about Hagerstown, MD but it DID work in Marriottsville, MD – so a good chance it will work for you, too!
Leslie says
I did the deal at the Stonehouse plaza weis in Hagerstown, MD last night at 10 PM and it worked.
Melissa G says
I plan on trying this at the Martinsburg, WV store but haven’t gone yet. I typed the Martinsburg store in to the coupon network and it did come up as valid for our store. It is good until 9/24.
Jen says
Bought 11 cans of veggies and got both $4 ONYO’s. Paid $3 for 11 cans and I did 7 transactions.
Also bought 45 can’s fruit! AWESOME deal! LOVE it….
Kate C. says
Got this deal tonight in Pennsburg. I bought 5 Fruit coctail 100% juice and 4 peaches in 100% juice. I got both (the $4 Del Monte cat and the $4 weis cat). I applied them to my next transaction where I bought 5 packages of chicken breasts at $1.99 per lb and it gave me a 65% savings!! Thanks so much!!
Shannon W says
Worked in Harrisburg
I did 12 cans of veggies too since shelf price is lower and got the two $4 cats! .33 cents a can for the veggies.
I got no sugar mandarin oranges, fruit cocktail , chunky fruit mix, tropical fruit mix, peaches and pears.
Did someone say they got tomoatoes?? I might have toi go back tomorrow for tomoatoes if they are included!!
Thanks Shannon!!
Shannon W says
I did roll my cats and did several transaction but the second coupon beeped and they had to turn the key every time. Then customer service told the cashier to just ring in manually four manufacturer coupons for $2 because it was something to do with the amount of the coupons?? It worked anyway.
Liesa says
Could I buy 12 vegetables for $12 OOP at $1.25 shelf price, then get the $4 cats from WEIS and Del Monte? $4 is still not a bad price for 12 cans = 0.33 a can?!!!
Shannon W says
YES! I can report I did 12 cans of veggies tonight in Harrisburg! I wasn’t thinking and did 9 first and got the2- $2 cats and saw the error right away-oops. I got corn, creamed corn, green beans and peas(my in laws love canned peas, I prefer frozen peas)
Shannon W-Harrisburg
Liesa says
It worked for me too!! And I have to say that I was blessed with the sweetest cashier in the world! I went late last night to stock up for my family. I kept the cats to go today and stock up for the homeless outreach pantry. What a blessing!!! Thanks for the heads up, Shannon!…Your hard work is much appreciated!!
Anna says
I got the same thing with the manager override. I did this multiple times tonight at 2 different Weis. The only fruit item marked 10/10 that did not work was the Apricot Halves. Other kinds I got- No Sugar Mandarin Oranges, Very Cherry, Tropical fruit mix, peaches (3 kinds, the freestone, sliced and raspberry flavored), pears (sliced and halves) Chunky fruit mix. I also got sweet peas- but it isn’t as good of a deal- the shelf price was $1.25 so I only got 2 $2 off Cats. There was a TON of stock at both stores I went to, I split it up cause I didn’t want to gum up the line forever at just one store.
Katie W. says
worked for me! thanks for the deals!
Jamee says
I just ran to the store and bought 15. I didnt see the mandarine oranges, I checked for ya! Bought 15 because on the Edy’s deal my store didnt go on the shelf price, but the sale price…but I got both $4 catalinas and was so happy! Gonna try again tomorrow for the tomatoes seeing that i had a bummer garden this year. Thanks so much for the heads up! My 3 boys LOVE you!
Andrea says
It rolled for me but for some reason they had to get a manager override when using the cats. The second one (no matter which they did first) always beeped for them. Not sure why…
Robin says
Not sure if your store is the same, but at my local stores, any coupon over $2 needs management approval.
Tara says
Mine needed an override too – I’ve found at my Weis (York) that when I use the self-checkout and my coupons are over a certain percentage it always beeps. I’ve never had a problem using them, I just need someone to come over.
Andrea says
If anyone goes, the cashier should scan the first coupon, hit total and then scan the second coupon and then it should go through with no problems =)
Beth says
Worked for me! I bought the fruit first then did a second transaction with the veggies….and two $4 Q’s printed out again! Woo Hoo!!!
Kelly says
Just FYI, when I logged into my coupon network account, the offer is now saying “save up to $4 when you spend $15 on Del Monte…” The national cat must be based on shelf price also, at least right now. I think I might try it on the veggies though, we go through them more, but I’m sure the shelf price is lower than the fruit.
Kelly says
Wow that’s an awesome deal, I’ll have to go and try it tonight. I’ll let you know how I make out!
Debbie says
Thanks for posting this. I never eat fresh fruit fast enough, so a good stock up on canned is good for me.
Shannon says
Let us know how you make out :)
Linda says
Wow! Sounds like a good deal. Do you know if there are mandarin oranges included in the deal?
Shannon says
Linda,
Sorry dont know. I would suggest checking tags.
Andrea says
Wasn’t at my store. Fruit cocktail, Very Cherry, Tropical Fruit Cocktail, Peaches and Pears seems to be it =) Wish Pineapple and Mandarin Oranges were though because my kids eat them like they’re going out of style lol
Linda says
Someone reported on another forum that the mandarin oranges at her store were part of the deal. I can’t wait to try this deal!
Andrea says
Yup. Mandarin Oranges were in a different section when I checked today and they were included =) Can’t believe I missed it the first time.
Nicole R says
Linda-
I was just at Weis and the mandarin oranges ARE included :)
Tara says
Did mine last night and I got 9 No Sugar Added Mandarin Oranges and 9 No Sugar Added Pears and they all counted – did it in 2 transactions – paid 9.00 for the first one and got back the (2) 4.00 cats – then used those and paid 1.00 for the 2nd one and got back 2 more 4.00 cats!
Thank you for this awesome deal!
Cindy says
Forget it-it took awhile for the picture to load :)
Shannon says
oh good :)
Cindy says
What kind(s) did she buy?
