Aren’t these B1G1 at CVS this week? I think I see a trip across the street in my future…
Ruchama says
Oh, are they? I’ve got to go to CVS this afternoon anyway, to pick up a prescription, so I’ll get two there. (Don’t need them, but if they’re free, I’ll donate them. I’m sure the food bank knows a kid whose Easter basket could use a little extra.)
Ruchama says
Looks like the B1G1 at CVS rang up as one for 37 cents and one for 38 cents, rather than one for 75 and one for 0, so if you bought two and paid 75 cents, then you just got redeemed 38 cents. Good to know for future deals, and good to learn on something where it’s just a few cents.

Ruchama,
That is odd! I thought one always rang up at zero at CVS.. wondering if this is new?

I bought some last week and some today. At my CVS, one rang up at $0.75 and other free.
Ruchama says
Interesting. I didn’t look at the receipt, but my SavingStar rebate came back as 38 cents, and it seems like the same thing happened with everyone else who bought two, so I figured it must have rung up that way. If not, and if SavingStar only refunds half the cost if you do a B1G1, then they ought to say that.
