6.00 or 60 cents? Doesn’t make sense sorry I’m learning

Hi Joanna…
The deal is when you buy 6 Country Time/Crystal Light (and other items) you will get 200 gas points. 200 pts = $0.20/gallon of gas.
The country time is $2.00 x 6 = $12
If you have 6 $1/1 MFQs you would only pay $6
and then you would $0.20 off/gallon of gas. The max gallons you can get is 30 gallons so if you do a full 30 gallons and save $0.20/gallon it is the equivalent of saving $6.
Pay $6 for the lemonade and get $6 worth of gas (if you fill up to 30 gallons) = FREE
Now, if you only get 20 gallons of gas your savings is only $0.20 x 20 = $4. So it would be like paying $2 for the 6 tubs of lemonade.
I can usually get 19 gallons in my car (when dead on E) and then we fill up 2 5-gallon tanks. We almost always get ~29 gallons of gas with the points.
Just got 29.5 gallons yesterday for $0.00 and I still have $0.20 off per gallon left.
Linda buchanan says
How can you get 29.5 gallons for $0.00. Isn’t it just $.20 per gallon? I got gas today there with my 200 points which brought the cost of the gas down to $3.41 per gallon. So I still spent $40 in gas.
joanna says
Shouldn’t it be 60 cents? I’m new to this that seems wrong. Ad says 200 points on 2
FTM says
Joanna, you’ll get 200 points (or $.20 a gallon) when you purchase 6. You can take $.20 off a gallon, up to 30 gallons ($6.00) If you do not have a 30 gallon, you can take a gas pail with you to maximize your gas points.

Not sure if this will be helpful ~~~ But I saw $2.00 off Country Time wyb 2 Kraft BBQ sauce peelies @ my Giant. ( on the Kraft BBQ sauces.)
Grill On!! Summer is “finally” here! :)
Maryanne says
I saw these too!! Grabbed 6 of them…unfortunately, Kraft is on sale for $1 THIS week. In a perfect world the 2 deals would have aligned alas, it is not be! Combined with $1/2 kraft coupon and $2 peelie for Country time and you would have paid $3 for the BBQ sauce and get $6 worth of gas along with 6 free tubs of lemonade! $3 MM.
I wonder what the regular price is for the BBQ sauce?
Maryanne says
By the way, I checked the tags at my store on that Kraft BBQ sauce. It is 10/$10 until July!!!
That means I will pay $3 for BBQ Sauce and 6 tubs of Country Time and get $6 worth of gas!!
There were at least 100 bottles of Kraft with the $2 peelies on them. So very excited for next week!
