Here are the best coupon matchups for Giant PA. Giant PA’s doubling policy vary. Most stores double up to $.50, making a $.50 coupon, $1.00. There are stores that double to $.99, making the coupon $1.98. A handful of stores double to $1.00, making it $2.00. All the coupon matchups in this post are based on doubling to $.50, so if your store doubles to a higher amount you will have an even better deal!
Remember, Giant doubles one like coupon

I was reading over the intro to giant and never knew they only double 1 like coupon. Is this always the case? I usually buy multiple of items we use regularly especially when on sale and w/ a coupon but I never even noticed this. Perhaps I was always using high value coupons? I am just wondering if this is for every Giant.
Shannon says
@dana,
Yes it is all Giants.

RedPack Tomatoes are $1 per a can this week. There is a coupon here for $0.75 off two that I believe will double. That makes them $0.25 a piece.

cool to see local people on here. I shop the Giant in Newport also. I live about 20 minutes away in Richfield. I like to go there so I can hit Rite Aid in the same trip. I also shop Selinsgrove, Pa. and Lewistown on the weeks I want to do the CVS deals. I have heard that the Giant in State College doubles to .99 and I have considered making the trip but have not gotten around to it yet! ;) It is a big enough deal getting in and out of two stores with a 4 month old baby!
Brenda says
@Tina Horst, My sis-in-law shops Giant in State College and she gets her $1.00’s doubled. Nice deal, I think! She usually comes away with lots of free stuff.
Amanda says
@Tina Horst, The Giant in State College actually doubles to $1.00, so all those dollar off coupons end up being 2 bucks off, which is the ONLY reason I choose to shop at Giant over Wegmans.

This is the second week in a row I got none of the coupons you reference for Giant from the most recent Sunday paper. I don’t have anything for Melitta Coffee in my SS and nothing for Mars in my RP! I looked through each four times, hoping they would magically appear, but, alas…they are still not there! haha
I think I need to switch back to the Morning Call or something. I stopped buying that and started buying the Reading Eagle, because the Morning Call seemed to never have the inserts. Any suggestions? Have you found this to be the case, too? I know you’re not all TOO far from where I live. I’m beginning to get a little frustrated!
Shannon says
For the Smart Source – the only way I get all the coupons listed is buying the Inquirer – that is expensive, but I got a delivery deal, making it $1 per issue. I don’t get the reading Eagle, I find that instead of $.50/1 they will have $1.00/2.
I get the Daily Local and they have a good Replum.
Laura says
@Shannon, Thank you so much for the guidance! I’d rather spend more and get coupons I can use than spend less and get less useful deals…and you’re right…the Reading Eagle does have a lot of $1/2 coupons where you list $.50/1 or $.55/1. I’ll have to give the Inquirer a try! Thank you so much!
Alison says
@Laura, I get the inquirer and though they have the best smartsource coupons there is no redplum :( I get the inquirer delivered and usually buy the pottsmerc at the store – they usually have all the coupons shannon lists. The intelligencer is generally good too.
Laura says
@Alison, Thanks, Allison! I think the inserts in the Pottsmerc and Eagle are the same. I remember seeing on the spine of the inserts the Mercury and another paper along with the Eagle. (I can’t verify, though – I’m at work.)
I think that will be my new game plan. Inquirer and Eagle or Potts Merc. I bought a house in the area about a year ago, and have not yet subscribed to a paper because I wanted to feel them out first (mostly for the coupons…I rarely actually READ the thing). I thought I was onto something until the past few weeks when I seem to be missing half of the coupons!
I really appreciate all the help, Shannon and Alison!! :0)
Shannon says
@Laura,
They are not the same in the Reading Eagle as the Mercury.
The Mercury gets the same as Lansdale Reporter, Norristown Times, Daily Local, and Philly Tribune for the RP
For the Smart Source – its Daily Loca, Pottstown Mercury , Norristown Times Herald and Vineland Journal.
Hope that helps.
Laura says
@Shannon, I realized that when I got home! The Reading Eagle has the Pottsville Republican, not the Pottstown Mercury. I was close! haha
Thanks again. I followed your suggestions, I think I finally have all the coupons this week! :0)
Shannon says
@Laura,
ahh yeah everyone confuses Pottstown and Pottsville.. :)
Laura says
@Shannon, You know, I grew up not too far from Pottsville, and my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years is from Pottstown – he lived there for the first two years of our relationship. You’d think I would be able to figure out the difference by now! haha
Shannon says
@Laura,
LOL I am from Pottstown originally! Small World!
Laura says
@Shannon,
:0) It certainly is!
Sarah says
I am at an instant savings store. Old El Paso seasoning mix 3/$2 is included in the buy 8 save $3. There are also coupons for $.60/2 on the old el paso web site. So if you have 4 coupons buy 8 seasoning mixes $5.34 – (4)$.60 =$2.94 – $3 instant savings = FREE!
joanna says
@Sarah, Where are the coupons on the website?
Maria says
By any chance, would you happen to know of any Giant stores in or around the Lehigh Valley that double coupons up to .99 (to $1.98) or $1 (to $2)? The two in my area double up to $1 max (so a .50 coupon becomes $1, or a .75 coupon becomes $1, etc.). Would love to know if there are Giant stores in my area that double the higher-value coupons. Thanks!
Shannon says
Unfortunately I don’t – best suggestion is got go to the website put in your zip code and check out the ads in your area, they have it on the back side on the ad.
Melissa says
@Maria, the giants in quakertown on 309 (not the one in coopersburg though) both double up to $.99
Alison says
@Maria, The giant in Pottstown and in gilbertsville both double up to .99, I know it’s not super close though
Shannon says
Alison, the Giant in Pottstown (Route 100 headed towards 23, double only to $.50 right?
