They are also part of the Gas Deals/Instant Savings deal! Woohoo. I am going to start working on my scenarios now. I should have some updates later today.

Going tomorrow, trying to pick up 2 tickets. I hope we need that much cheese! We don’t drink pepsi, well my kids would love it if I bought it! My friend & I are going to sit down this evening & plan out our deals. I’ll post tomorrow if our trip is successful! :) happy shopping!
Brandy says
I was wondering if anyone knows if the following are included in the Hersheypark promotion: Breakstone’s regular sour cream, Breakstone’s Zesty blends, Kraft Big Slice, regular blocks of Philadelphia cream cheese, and refrigerated Jell-o snacks. I’m trying to plan a trip to Giant (1 hr drive from me) and would just like to be sure of what’s included. Thanks! :)
Angie says
The Breakstone’s sour cream, Kraft slices and Philly cream cheese were all marked on my store’s shelves. I purchases enough to get the $3 of purchase of 6 and they also qualified for my total purchase for two free tickets. Just make sure you calculate the $3 off into your total because it does state in ad that you have to meet $75 after Giant Bonus card savings!
Lisa says
Is cracker barrel cheese included in the HP promo? Also, if I buy 12 items from the “buy any 6 earn 200pts” in the same transaction will I earn 400pts?
Shannon says
Lisa,
I dont think so.
Carol says
I don’t know about the cheese but I do know that I have bought 12 of something that was buy 6 for 200 gas points and gotten 400 points, so that should work for you. i asked the cashier the first time and she thought it would work but tested it for me and it did., Since then I’ve done it several times. I bought tons of the Hershey’s stuff the other week and only did one order.
good luck!

I went first thing Sunday morning, got around $83 and got my bill to $55 after coupons. Tickets printed out fine for me in Chambersburg PA
Dee says
Thanks for this site. Never even thought to buy needed items and get Hershey tickets until I read your blog. The deal worked for me (Giant in Lehigh Valley). I had to have $75 after all coupons and tax. My total was $75.38 with 90 cents tax and the catalina for Hershey would not print. I had to run back and pick up 1 more Capri Sun for $2 before it printed.
Jo says
Hershey Giant (downtown, not route 39) was well stocked this morning. I spent over an hour and a half picking out my items, checking and double checking sizes, brand types etc and even had a little over 75.00 before coupons. I only got one voucher at the register and had to go to customer service. They were so busy and said since its early in the week, there are still some bugs in their system. I know I purchased everything right. They issued the second voucher without question. That’s one thing about our local Giant, they make things right and their customer service center is great. Be careful though, the pepsi products do not include the fridge packs , one thing they clarified with signs in our store. And the OM luch meat wasn’t marked in the case (it probably was included but I was aftraid to chance it.)
Holly says
My trip was successful also at a Lanc. area Giant with the exception of the 2nd ticket. I spend $ 75.46 but only got one voucher. I went to customer service and she said it was because with $2 tax it put it under $75. So make sure you are well over the limit for it to work. Thankfully the customer service lady knows I’m a loyal customer and gave me the 2nd one! :)
My store was well stocked except for shredded cheese and OM.
Betsey says
Paid 60 for 2 tickets, but now that I know cheese is included, I know I can do it for way less the second time around. I thought I was doing good getting there at 7 am on Sunday, but most of my store wasn’t even stocked and I couldn’t get a lot of the things I had originally planned for. I was really mad when the stock guy told me he didn’t even order the OM lunch meats yet that were included. Anyone know if Giant does rainchecks?
Margaret Anne says
yes, Giant gives rainchecks.
Irene says
I don’t have a Giant too close to me. I hope the one I’m going to on Saturday has enough stock!!
Shannon says
Good luck Irene. I drove to one “near me” 40 miles round trip, and they were picked over.
Diana says
Super excited! I got 2 Hershey Park tickets for $59! I’m going back to do it again this week!
lovinangels says
I got out for sixty. I’m happy. I’m going back to do it again, I think, if I can put together the coupons.
barb says
i am still a little new to all this, is the 75.00 before cpupons or after?
lovinangels says
I just got back. It’s before coupons, but after bonus card savings.
Victoria says
Just called my Giant on Baltimore St. in Hanover PA and they are telling me that its $50 or $75 after coupons! :-(
Ruth Jenkins says
Once you reach 50.00 or 75.00, check for tax also, you can use coupons and if you bought the correct items, you will get one or two tickets. However, in order to be sure the deal works right just buy the items listed on the back of the store flier. I did this deal several times and the only times, it worked fine, was when I bought the items listed on the flier. I didn’t go by the tags with the Hershey promos, other people had similar problems when mixing the items on the flier and the items with the Hershey tags.
lovinangels says
Which price do they calculate the total off of? The full cost, or with the bonus card savings?
Shannon says
the prices are sales prices — all of Giants deals are.
Kara says
Can you list the prices and if there are any coupons available for these items?? Thank you so much!!!
Shannon says
Kara,
Please check the matchups from the links provided, they were listed last week.
Tara says
Definitely worked for me this morning too! I had my deal calculated with the $50 worth of the stuff Shannon had posted earlier in the week. I was also planing to do the gas deals (I had the free Kraft and Breakstone’s Coupons anyway) and when I saw they were tagged I did some quick math and I ended up paying $40 for 2 HersheyPark Tickets and ended up with the $4 Catalina! I definitely think stock will be an issue though. I did the OM lunch meats (got 6 so I could use 3 of the 1.00/2 coupons and get the Cat) and there were hardly any left super early this morning- supposedly they are getting a truck in but you never know! Good luck and thanks for the awesome deal – I’m taking my 3yo son twice because of this deal!
Janelle says
So, I am wondering, do the tickets say “Not For Resale” on them? I don’t think we’ll make it to Hersheypark this year, but if I could resell the tickets, boy would that make a deal! Of course, there are laws about selling tickets to certain events.
I checked on Ebay, and there are a bunch of Hersheypark tickets for sale. Some of them say “Not For Resale”, and some do not. So obviously people are getting away with selling them even though they are not supposed to. For anyone who has gotten these from Giant, do they say it?
I don’t want to do anything dishonest, but if it’s allowed, I’d like to try to be creative with feeding my family’s rather large appetite for cheese and dairy products :)
Shannon says
Since they are catalina coupons, I am going to guess they are not for resale.
Tina C. says
Im glad I looked at this. I was just looking at my sale paper showing the kraft/pepsi items and there really wasnt much listed. I didnt realize there was other stuff than what was in the sale paper.
Heidi S says
The cheese is included in the deal. I found a tear pad when I first walked into our Giant located with the Pepsi cases. The tear pad listed all of the items participating in the deal and the sliced cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, etc. were all listed on this sheet! I did the deal three times and it worked each time!
anthony b says
Has the cheese deal worked for anyone else? I won’t be able to go until later in the week, so I hope it still works then!!
Bonnie in PA says
I just got back from the Giant near Easton(I was hoping to find $1.49 cards, they were all gone boo). This deal had me stressed(they only had two bottles of A-1, sorry I took them, and only 4 things of the family sized turkey lunch meat, took that too). They had a bunch of OM turkey tagged as B1G1 and in the HP deal just like the bologna. Had to do a little fast math but it worked out in the end.
Melody says
Ok so I think I messed up :/. So the stuff listed under the spend 25 and get 7 back- DOES FOR SURE COUNT TOWARD THE 75??? I did both deals so I spent over 100. But would like to do it again and spend LESS. (OF course, lol)
Shannon says
I am not sure what you mean?
Shannon says
Melody,
If i am reading this right you are mixing two deals together.
Melody says
Sorry. I don’t think i did a great job explaining that.
So for the kraft and hershey park deal:
If they have EITHER TAG Under the price (the kraft tag or hp tag) does it work toward both deals? In my store the items only had one tag. EX: The capri sun under the price it had the hershey park tag. It didn’t say anything about the 25 off 7. I’m trying to ask if we have to spend the 75 and then a separate 25 on kraft stuff? Or could you spend 75 and get the 2 hershey park tickets and the 7 oyno coupon? I hope this makes more sense.
Shannon says
melody, what do you mean by the $7 off $25. There is no $7 off $25 for the Kraft stuff?
There is the Kraft Deal and the Gas/Instant Savings Double Dip, but the $7 wyb $25 is Kelloggs and not related to this at all.
Melody says
OMG!! DUH!! I was getting them confused. I swear! LOL i’m so sorry. I don’t know why my mind was NOT processing that. :-/
Tracey Mousley says
Just worked for me in Lancaster store. Thanks for the tip! Loved the class yesterday my kids thank you because I never would have thought to do the Hershey park tickets!!
Colleen says
Shannon, they pulled all the tags for the double dip at my store. (Rt 39 Hershey) Gas/instant Kraft products are NOT included. I even tested it out with the shredded Kraft cheese and cubes and it wouldn’t print.
Shannon says
Colleen,
Hmm readers are saying it has worked for them?
Shannon says
Colleen,
I just checked my photos and cubes were not marked at my store as participating item. Could that be the issue?
Colleen says
Shannon, my store had the same tag up as pictured. Later they went through and cut off the part about being included in Hershey ticket deal. (When I got there I could tell where they cut the bottom off.) But they still had the Hershey promo on the bottom part on the bagged cheese. I bought $30 worth of cheese and other items listed in the bottom portion of the Giant ad. I only received 1 ticket voucher. I went to customer service and was told the Kraft cheese from gas deal were NOT included. She honored the tag I saw but had someone go back and immediately cut off the bottom of those tags as well. Hopefully, I made a mistake with the cubes but like I said customer service rep said no double dip with gas deal and Hershey promo.
Shannon says
Colleen,
There definitely is a double dip. I think your cubes may have been the issue. They are not listed as being included.
Colleen says
That is great news! I wonder why my particular Giant decided to cut off the bottom of the tags with the HP promo on it??? Sorry for the misleading information but I was just reporting what I was told by the customer service rep. I am very GLAD she was misinformed.
Shannon says
Colleen,
Please dont be sorry! This is how we figure these things out. The cheese cubes might not have been coded properly, so you just saved someone else the trouble of finding that out!
Holly says
Sweet!
Sasha Davies says
Yay! I’m working on figuring out my list for the Hershey Park tickets, what a great deal!!
