This worked two different days for me this week, but not today. The manager had no idea why, he said maybe it was tied to my bonuscard and that I reached a limit for the week. The catalina machine was on and ready…
Good grief, you all have expensive toilet paper! ;) Here in the Lehigh Valley it is 87 cents a roll, and the wipes are $1.99. Even without coupons this is a great deal, as we are a heavy toilet wipe use family (4 kiddos). SO happy I saw this as we’ve been out of wipes for a little while while I waited for a good deal. 4 rolls of toilet paper and 4 packs of wipes for $3.44 (after subtracting the $2 oyno). Thank you!
When I did this, the catalina machine also printed out two coupons: $2 on 1 naturals moist wipes or refill and $2 on 2 naturals moist wipes or refills.
Is there always a minimum purchase order on these kind of deals?? I’m new to this and want to make sure I stop screwing up these coupon deals!
Is this an advertised deal? I didn’t see it in the ad. I’m in Quakertown, PA.
I just want to say a big “THANK YOU” for this site. On here, I discovered and prepared my coupons for the Hershey tickets, the cereal/milk deal and the Scott products.
Thanks again.
I did it four times! I used my $2 catalina on my last three transactions for minimum out of pocket. Giant in Quakertown, PA- toilet paper @ $1.09 and wipes @ $1.99. Yay!
Ah fudge, I figured out what I did wrong. I didn’t it fully about buying two different Scott products–I wondered why you didn’t just get two cheap rolls of TP!!
I rolled this catalina 8 times today. Each time, I bought 1 single roll of toilet paper and 1 pack of the wipe refills and I got the $2 catalina each time. At the Souderton, PA Giant, the wipes were $1.99 and the single roll of TP was $1.06. After $.50/1 coupon and the catalina, I paid $.08. Total OOP this morning was $.64 and I got 8 rolls of TP and 8 packs of the wipes and have another $2 catalina to use.
How many wipes were in your $1.99 pack? I’m in Quakertown.
35 wipes
This deal did NOT work at all for me. I bought 2 separate items (a refill pack and a container of the wipes) and got no Catalina. I asked at Customer Service, and they had no clue what I was talking about with regard to a Catalina. They even asked the manager for a code to push it through manually, and he had no record of any Scott Catalina promotion. Hmmmm. I am in Lancaster, PA.
Janelle, it has to be two different Scott’s items. It may have not worked because both of those products are considered wipes.
Agreed, that was my theory too. However, they are completely separate items, different prices, different barcodes, different packaging, so it seemed like it should have worked.
The store manager also should have known about the deal, I would have thought. Was this deal on the Catalina network? I didn’t see it advertised in the Giant ad anywhere.
Bethlehem, PA- Union Blvd Giant.. i used $1 coupon on roll of scott toilet paper $0.87 and scott natural’s refill wipes $1.99.. no catalina on my end either. Was there a minimum purchase amount on this?
It’s rolling at Giant Pa and Shop Rite that I have done. You have to buy different products, can’t be the same.
The cat will most likely beep at the checkout when using again, but they should push it through.
i rolled it a couple times at Giant and Weis
Also, does anyone know if these are rolling or one offer per Bonus Card?
They were rolling last time…
They are rolling, I think I’ve done 7 transactions.
Hey, wanted to pass this along even though it is unrelated to saving money b/c it may apply to these products…
In our rural township, the sewer company sent out requests/warnings that many of the “flushable” wipes do not actually breakdown. They suggested that most wipes that are stored in liquid will not breakdown in the sewage and should be disposed of in the regular trash despite the label.
This may sound disgusting, but friends of mine who work for a city water treatment facility said they actually filter out anything that won’t break down and dispose of it in a dumpster…apparently a lot of corn gets filtered out! Anyway, I’m thinking that an abundance of these wipes bogs down their system ultimately making it more expensive to process. So, in the end, I guess it does relate to saving money!!!
J,
eww. that is all. LOL
Ha ha :-) Sorry for the mental image; just keepin’ it real!
yea thats what my says also kristen!!!
So..they all have to be diff? Can’t buy 3 wipes?
How many wipes are in the refill pack? I have a coupon for $1/2 tubs or $1/1 102 ct. refill
I believe there are 35 wipes in a pack.
