Some of you have asked about the new clause in gas points that says you have to use all of your gas points. This verbiage from the new policy states that you have to use available points in 100 increments, but does talk about rollover. So, if I am reading this right, (and who knows, until we try it), this means you WILL NOT have to use all of your gas points – you won’t lose the overage. However, it does look like it means you can not choose to use less than the value of your points.
So for example, if you have 500 points, you cannot redeem just 200 points, you would have to redeem the full amount in 100 increments, up to the price of gas. Or, if gas is $3.00 and you have 3000 points, you cannot say you want to use 2000 and keep the remaining points.
This is how I am reading it, but cannot test it until later this week! Has anyone tried it yet?
Thanks, Holly

Thanks for answering this question! It is not how it read in the article from the York Daily Record but I am happy to see it won’t change! :)

We just got gas this morning. We got free gas like we usually do, and the gas points do carry over. Really, the only change in the policy is the maximum amount of gas you get per fill-up (25 GALLONS) and when the points expire.
