Acme is running two catalinas deals right now, Con Agra and Unilever. There are not many coupons available to matchup. I am all out of coupons for the Con Agra, but was able to find a few for the Unilever.
I was able to do the Unilever catalina deal twice.
First Transaction:
(2) Qtips $2.50 ($3.49 shelf)
(2) Bertolli Pasta Sauce $2.49 ($3.59 shelf)
(2) Skippy Peanut Butter $1.99 ($2.99 shelf)
Total: $20.14 shelf / $13.36 total
Used (2) $.60/1 Qtips Printable
Used (2) $.75/1 Bertolli from 05/02 SS
Used (1) $.60/1 Skippy Printable
Paid $7.36
Got back $5.00 Catalina
$2.36 OOP
My second transaction did not go as smooth!
(2) Skippy $1.99 ( $2.99 Shelf)
(2) Hellman Mayo $2.50 ($3.99 Shelf)
(2) Wishbone Salad Dressings $2.50 (2.79 shelf)
(1) Lipton Mix $1.00
Total $14.98 Total / $20.54 Shelf
used (1) $.60/2 Skippy printable
use (2) $.50/1 Wishbone printable
$11.78 total
used $5.00 catalina before
paid $6.78
got back $5.00 catalina
I bought the wrong kind of mayo and had to my transaction all over at the service desk.
So if an item is on Knockdown, the catalina will be based on the Knockdown price instead of the shelf price. Got it. All of my ConAgra items were 10 for $10, so that was probably the case for at least some of them. Thanks so much for explaining. You’ve helped me so much with couponing!
@Bev P.,
Bev,
You got it — if it is knockdown it is not on shelf price.
Are all catalina deals based on the shelf price? At ACME today, I was able to do the Unilever one based on shelf prices, but the ConAgra one did not work based on shelf prices. A store associate even walked through the store with me to confirm that the products I purchased were eligible, but I did not receive the catalina. Just looking to know for future purchases. Thanks!
@Bev P.,
Bev some items are on Knockdown so you have to be careful with them.
