Sorry about the blurry picture! Everytime I go to Acme, I remember why Acme is my FAVORITE store. Here’s the thing too because they have such great deals, I end up doing all my other shopping there. There meat deals this week were pretty good. So I stocked up on that too.
This week is probably the best deal to do the Kraft $20.00 rebate /$5.00 catalina deal! I was lucky enough to have saved my Kraft coupons from Smart Source back in May. ( I am not sure why, but I was waiting for the right deal). Turns out, I was lucky! Not many people still have those coupons, so I won’t post matchups – but here are a few tips:
– In the front of my Acme, there was a big display with many coupons. If you have no other Kraft coupons – go into the store and grab these. They will still be a money maker. The best options are the $1.00/2 Trail Mix. They are priced at $1.49 each or the Velveeta Mac & Cheese Cups.
Buy (17) Bags of Trail Mix $25.33
Use (8) $1.00/2 = -8.00 (there were plenty of coupons and I mean pads and pads!)
Pay $17.33
Get Back $20.00 in rebate and $5.00 catalina
$7.67 overage!
There were also Buy 2 Velvetta, Get 1 Free
So you could do this:
Buy 25 cups of Velvetta $25.00
Use 8 coupons -8.00
$17.00 after coupons
Get Back $20.00 in rebate and $5.00 catalina + $1.00 OYNO WYB 2 Velveeta Cups
$9.00 overage!
Because I had so many Kraft coupons, I rolled the catalina 3 times. Even though you can only get 1 rebate, you can get as many catalinas as you want.

Hey – just out of curiosity….what Velveeta coupon were you using? The one from the 8/9 SS?
I bought my papers in Pittsburgh that weekend and I got a BOGO coupon, not a B2G1. So, I’ll get 26 cups, pay $13 and get a $5 Cat, submit for the rebate and have a $12 moneymaker (and the maids in the hotel gave me all the newspapers that were left in the rooms…we will have Velveeta shells & cheese until the end of time!)
Of course, the downside of getting that better coupon is that Pittsburgh doesn’t distribute the RP in the papers any longer….so I am RedPlum-less for 8/9 ;-)
Hey Mindi,
No I was on vacation on 08/09 and bough the paper in South Carolina.. didn’t have Red Plum or the Velveeta coupons. I was so mad that I missed the good coupons last week!
The B2G1 is on a tearpad at the front of the store in the display area. They had tearpads for almost everything there.
When I was in Pittsburgh in June, I had the same thing. I had lots of papers, but no RP!
You all have a wonderful website. Thanks so much for sharing the deals!
