I tried posting this before, but it didn’t go through…
Our Weis had all of their Purdue chicken 40% off, and there was a coupon for $.75/1 pack of chicken I could use. I do not remember which coupon the flyer was in; I clip them before I use them instead of waiting until I need them. It is easier for me that way :)
They also have their pork tenderloin on BOGO, as well as their Kunzler hot dogs. Kunzler had a coupon for $1/2; their normal price is $4.99 so you can get 2 packs of hot dogs for $3.99 or $1.99/each.
Our Weis has also been sending their sale flyer in the mail every Wednesday; we just had a new store open up 2 months ago so I’m not sure if they will eventually stop or not, but it makes trip planning so much easier because I can plan ahead :)
I’m not sure if our Weis

Our Weis this week has Zyrtec on sale, 2/$30. I paired that with my two $4.00/1 coupons and got two 24-ct boxes of Zyrtec for $22 or $11/each. I’m sorry I don’t know when the Zyrtec coupons were in the paper though. I have a bad habit of clipping them right out of the paper when I get it rather than waiting until I need to use them.
They also have their Kunzler hot dogs BOGO, and I paired that with my $1/2 coupons (again, not sure when they came out – sorry). They are normally $4.99/pack at our store, so I got 2 packs for $3.99 or $1.98/each.
All of their Purdue chicken is 40% off, and I used some .75/1 coupons to save even more, and they have their marinated or regular pork tenderloins BOGO this week as well.
I’m not sure if maybe my Weis is running different specials than some of the others, but I just wanted to pass these along as well! Our store has also been mailing out their next weeks ad on Wednesdays, so it has been a heck of a lot easier to plan my trips/coupons now :-)

I do separate transactions on the same day all of the time. If they roll, I do multiples into each other right in a row. SCO is my favorite place to do so, I don’t like to irritate anyone, but one of my stores doesn’t have one so I do it in a regular line, no one says anything to me. I will go around and get in line over again if the lines are long, but I try to shop when they aren’t.

As long as the catalina prints out before you are required to pay, that is allowed. I’m a cashier at Weis and never had an issue allowing people to use the catalinas.
Betsy says
I usually always use my catalina same day on my second transaction. Sometimes it requires an overide but I have never received a complaint.
Jenny says
I’ve been meaning to ask for awhlile (to anyone reading): do most stores let you turn around and use their catalinas right away? On the same order or a new order?
Kristal says
Jenny…I’m actually a cashier at my local Weis store. The catalinas print out after you pay, but if you want to seperate your order so you can use those catalinas right after you get them, there’s no problem with that. It doesn’t matter how long you wait to use them. :)

Thanks… just 1 more question..when you say “using the database”. What database are you referring to exactly.

I was wondering what paper you get your coupons from and what area you live in. I don’t get some of the coupons you are referring to. For example I didn’t get the Purex coupon in either the 3/13 RP or the 5/1 SS. I understand the coupons are regional, was just wondering if I needed to possibly look at a different paper than the one I am getting.
Shannon says
Shelly,
Couple things:
1. I get the Daily Local, Reading Eagle and Philly Inquirer. Every single week, all three have different coupons – the Inquirer is the best Smart Source, Daily Local leaves alot to be desired when it comes to Smart Source, but has the best Red Plum and Reading Eagle is mediocre.
2. I live in the general area that Weis’s are :)
3. The matchups are done using the database, which includes all coupons – available regionally.
