There is a cereal and milk deal that is in some ads. See details here. Some areas are also seeing dollar doublers.

As long as I have been going to giant that has been their policy for a long while….no “printed” coupons for a free item..even if its bogo! Mailed ones they will except.
Lisa says
Hi All,
Went to Giant today and saw that the small combos were still on sale 10/$10. I still had 2 q’s so I said I grab 4 bags. I noticed there was a catilina ad on the large bags but didn’t mind it cause I was getting the small. Well WOOHOO. Got 2 $1 oyno from combos.
Here’s the deal
bought 4 combos $4, used 2 $1 off 2, got 2 1 catilinas FREE!!!
love surprise deals.

Did I miss a post anywhere about a Giant Food Coupon Policy Change? Was at Giant on Van Reed Road this morning and tried to use my B1G1 Internet Printable for the Bob Evans Side Dish and they refused it. The cashier and the cashier coach said they changed their policy and will no longer accept any internet printed coupon with the word FREE on it. Is this the case? I didn’t even have my other Bob Evans coupons on me to use – I was bummed. Thanks!
Raina says
My Giant does the same thing, no FREE coupons that are printed from the internet and no coupons over $5 printed. I was bummed about that one last summer when Sobe was giving away all those BOGO coupon and they wouldn’t take it.
darryl says
My Giant wouldn’t honor the B1G1 Bob Evans coupon since it’s an internet coupon and you get a free one (even though you have to pay for one). In their attempt to take two Bob Evans sides off, they ended up deleting my whole order! That pretty much set the tone for the rest of the day. Doh.

I noticed there’s a really good deal on general mills buy 4 boxes save $6.00 instantly, and also get a free milk Catalina. Anyone out there know where I can get those printable coupons for General Mills (.75 & .50 off)?
Laura says
Great deal on cereal I would love if Giant would double more than one like coupon. Cheerios this week was a 50 cent one and they only double one. Would love to get more cereal coupons too most I have are 1 off of 3.
Danielle says
I have have done it in separate trips with no problem for the gas coupon. It’s just in my area the 50 dollars HAS to be after all coupons or it won’t be on the receipt for the points.
Heidi says
I’ve always wondered this but never tried it…can you buy 8 (or more) boxes of GM cereal and keep getting the $6 off for each set of 4 you buy?
Jennifer Vick says
When it is an instant savings, you can stack them up together on one transaction. I do it all of the time, and have never had it not come off. BUT, you will probably not get the catalina for the milk multiple times… so in this case you probably need to do it in separate transactions. But if you try it, and multiple milk coupons print out, let us know! :)
Aimee says
I bought 16 boxes of GM cereals this week, all in one transaction. I got the $6 instant savings four times, plus I got 4 milk coupons. Love it!
Le says
The link for the Freschetta $2 coupon is taking me to Facebook –but no coupon appears when I “like” them. Anyone else getting this?
Shannon says
Le, it could be gone now – remember coupons can go at anytime.
Steve says
so with the spend 50$ get 300 gas points. does anyone know if i get more papers and do two or three 50$ transactions if i can get 600 or 900 gas points or will they limit it??
Rebecca W says
My FIL has done it- he went on different days and bought a little over $50 each time. It worked for him…
Laura says
My Twizzler coupon is save $1.00 on 3…..DARN!!!!
Amy says
Happy Sunday!
Heads up – the Wacky Mac coupon says ‘no doubling’ – not sure if the deal would work.
Thanks for an awesome list!
Jessie says
My coupons doesn’t say “no doubling”. There must be more than one type of coupon out there.
Lisa says
Question about the dollar doubler: Can I use two like manufacturer’s coupons with two of the doublers or does GIANT limit you to only one like coupon on these as well?
melissa s. says
I am wondering about the gas deal. There’s a coupon on the front of my flyer for spend $50 and get 30 cents off per gallon of gas. The fine print says “with the coupon, your bonuscard, and a minimum $50 purchase (minimum spend must be met after all discounts have been subtracted from order and before sales tax has been added.) I know sometimes like with the Hershey park deal, it was after all bonuscard discounts it had to equal the amount, but then you got to take coupons off. Does anyone know what the case is with the gas savings?
Ann says
Melissa –
I have been able to get the $0.30/gallon if I hand that coupon to the cashier first, before I hand over the rest of my coupons bringing my total below $50. I would assume it has to be after sale prices since you have to scan your bonuscard (which would adjust the prices) in order to scan the $0.30/gallon coupon. It may be a YMMV.
melissa s. says
Thanks a lot! That makes sense now. I will probably try it toward the end of the week. I also plan on getting some of the things on the back of the flyer to get the extra 20 cents off per gallon as well!
Joy says
Jen, I tried the same thing with the hot dogs. Both the cashier and manager stated that you must buy 4 in order to use the coupon. I didn’t argue, just said “Okay, I’m not going to get them then” and went on my way but I’m sure others would’ve just pushed it through. Always the luck of the draw I suppose with those things.
jen says
thanks! i figured that since my store doubles $1 they may be more strict on other coupons!
Marcy says
Try a different cashier next time. I was told that once, too, but every other cashier I have used takes them.
jen says
good morning shannon!!
i wanted to ask about using a $/2 coupon on BOGO items at giant. does each giant make up that policy or is that standard policy? i tried to buy the OM hot dogs last week that were B1G1 and they wouldn’t let me use my coupon since is wasn’t buying 2. their policy is vague on the internet so i never know which coupons to fight for when i am there. i just had them take the dogs off my order then.
thanks for any insight, jen :)
Shannon says
Jen,
There is no written policy on it and it could be YMMV. Same thing with a BOGO with a BOGO sale.
Heather says
Personally, I always use self checkout at Giant, our cashiers make things up all the time. I figure if it scans, it works.
Melody says
I don’t see the Danonino listed! It’s the best part of the ad in my opinion!! Buy 5 @ $1.89 and use 5 $1/1 q’s and get 200 gas points!!! Even with my 18 gallon van….it’s still an awesome deal! Roughly $.85 for 5 packs of my kids fave yogurt!
Shannon says
Melody,
Double checked, not in my comp ad. Will check it tomorrow when I get the regular newspaper ad.
Melody says
Strange! Got my ad today and it was there! Hopefully you find it, too!
Shannon says
Mel,
I get a comp ad, so sometimes its slightly different.
Keli says
It’s in my ad, but there are NONE at my store anymore….there’s not even a place in the yogurt section anymore for them. I even asked someone and he lookked around for it and wasn’t sure what happened. :(
kristin says
Hi Shannon,
I believe there is a fiber one catalina running at Giant that would make them cheaper…. Also, I think Cool Whip is on sale for $1 and there were $1/2 tearpads at Acme awhile back for Cool Whip…
just my 2 cents :)
