CVS coupons aren’t coded in such a way that they exclude anything. You can use a q that says “beauty” or something for candy, if the cashier will let you. They’re now starting to get into trouble for taking q’s they’re not supposed to take (one person posted on another blog that her cashier just asked for her red box q’s that were in her hand and scanned them all, even though they had nothing to do with what she actually bought). I’d still ask your cashier b/c I can see Motrin or Bayer as First Aid, but just and FYI if your cashier is different…

My wife uses clinical strength deodorant (dove, secret, or degree). You wanted to let you know that the BOGO Degree coupon has a maximum value listed as $6, but the cashier gave me the full sale price of $7.99. I’m sure this depends on the cashier you get. This equaled out to $2 per box which is a great deal on the clinical strength deodorant. Combined with the $2 Zyrtec moneymaker I only spent $2 for quite a bit of stuff.
Thanks for all you do.

man, I got the first aid coupon but I wasn’t positive if motrin counted for first aid or not so I didn’t use it. Bummer.

I had him run it through on a whim (when Rite Aid ran a “first aid” sale a few months ago, Tylenol was included). I was stoked when it worked!

Sometimes it pays to be on the lookout for Qs where ever you go. My doctor’s office recently had stacks of tablets that were $2 off excedrin migraine. I grabbed a tablet. There were about 20 Qs in each tablet. Excedrin migraine is 5.49 where I live. I got 4 – used 4 $2 Qs plus the $2 cvs Q. With ECB they were $0.49 each. If only I realized I could use the first aid Q!

Hi Shannon. I was just looking thru the ad and noticed the Hershey stand up bags of candy are BOGO for a penny. I still have some $2/2 coupons…are these ok to use? I’m not sure what the original price is, but I love these and am hoping it would be a good deal.
Shannon says
yep you should be good with that coupon.
