Disappointed at the “sales” at CVS this week. I thought they would have really good sales similar to black friday. : (
Still…thank you for your time and effort for putting the match ups together. Your work is very much appreciated.

I thought that this week sale would be good, too, I have all my ECB from last month, and now I have to spend $30 in one day.

The sales are always bad during Christmas week, retailers know that most people are not looking for sales and will buy things at full price. Look for clearance items on sale, at my CVS there was Olay and Pantene on clearance at 50% . Yesterday there was a day for the Pantene, even on the clearance which gave me a 3.00 ECB when I bought 3. There is a coupon for a 1.00/2, the big bottle were on clearance for 3.74 I think. There is also clearance for Clairol hair color and there is a 2.00 coupon.

I wonder if that’ why there hasn’t been an coupons in the paper the last couple of weeks. At least I got the free Keri lotion at Rite Aid this morning. If I get at least one free thing a week, I’m happy lol : )

There are no coupons in the paper during the holiday weeks. This year was particularly bad because they didn’t even put coupon in the paper last weekend which wasn’t even a holiday week. There is usually great coupons in the next cycle of coupons. Also, manufacturers usually changing packing for their product with the start of a new year, I’m starting to see clearances on hair color, shampoos, etc, usually if you wait until they are 75% off, the deals are awesome. At places like CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens, the clearances starts at 25% off and it is increased by 25% with each passing week. As a last resort, they mark clearance items at 90% just to get rid of them. It is hit or miss thing though so to find those great clearance deals, you have to almost go to the store on a daily basis.
