Hi, KT! Walgreens registers are a bit wonky when using coupons at times, bet we’ve all had a problem there from time to time. Their system is designed to accept coupons only for the same numbet of items. Like using a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon for one item, you’d actually need to buy a second item so the amount of coupons make sense to the register. Thankfully they usually have some .25-.50 candy near checkout (hopefully not just my area!) That will balance the coupon to item ratio. I had to figure this out on my own for no managers nor cashiers offered this tidbit. If you already knew and it still didn’t work, my appologies. Maybe this can help someone else in the future :) happy couponing!!
