I wanted to give you a heads up about this free Unreal candy at CVS next week, starting 7/15.
I wanted to tell you about it for two reasons:
1. Well, it is free after ECB.
2. Second, because it is a better option than “traditional” candy bars. They don’t contain many of the ingredients we (the Shaffers) have been trying to avoid. You know the little pesky ones, like GMOs, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Partially Hydrogenated Oils. Sure, it is still candy and not perfect, but it is the option I would choose when Evan wants a candy bar.
As many of you already know, I don’t particularly like chocolate. However, being a good sport, I tried the Unreal Candy bars at the CVS event I attended. I was pleasantly surprised, even Evan loved them. The peanut butter cups taste like real peanut butter!
Since they are free, I would love to hear what you think when you try them.

I tried the peanut butter up and the one like snickers…GROSS…I’ll stick to hershey!
Lil says
Would you be able to buy them again with the ECB gained and get more ECB?
Holly says
I hope they have them in stock unlike my local CVS’s this week with the Hershey Pleasures. I mean, it’s not like Hershey is very far away! :)
Melissa says
I work at a cvs and our display of the simple pleasures came in last week….unfortunately the trucks that deliver our products aren’t refrigerated and the simple pleasures melted in the heat. :(
Meredith says
I’m new to the couponing craze, what does ECB mean?
Shannon says
Meredith,
ECB means Extra Care Bucks. It will print out at the register to you use on the next transaction.
Amanda says
I was so excited to try them because we avoid all those ingredients too. We’ve had the PB Cups and the “M&M’s” and both are delicious. The “M&M’s” taste more like cocoa than the Mars ones and are delicious. I also loved the PB cups. I figured that sooner or later CVS would so a deal on them!
