Here are a few matchups with $1.00 coupons and this week’s dollar doublers. {The dollar doublers are found in the ads that are mailed to you or come in your newspaper}. They can be used with coupons that are $1.00 off.

Please excuse my ignorance but i’m a little confused. I got the dollar doubler coupons but I thought the store already doubled coupons? i’m not sure how this works…thanks

The store only doubles coupons to $.50 or $.99 depending on your location ..once in a while they double $1.00 coupons with dollar doublers.

Tonight I went to my Giant in SE PA and did 2 transactions with 4 dollar doublers in each and they did not beep and were able to be used!! I also got back (4) $4 OYNO catalinas! WOOT! Gonna go back tomorrow for 2 more transactions :)) HTH!!!

I went to Giant tonight and did two separate transactions with 4 doublers with each order and all 8 went through with my bonus card.
I got 8 nature valleys with the 1st order
(4) dollar doublers
(4) $1/2
and did the same with the 2nd transaction, no problem for me ~ I am SE PA Giant :) Also, got back (4) $4 OYNO! Thank YOU Shannon ~ I LOVE your site!!

has anyone actually tried to use more than 4 coupons in separate transactions under the same bonus card? I tried this before a while back and the next 4 wouldn’t work under the same card.
Snapple 6 pack 4.99 $1 coupon and doubler = 2.99
Berio Olive Oil 25.5 oz 5.99 $1 coupon and doubler=3.99
Minute Maid OJ 2.50 $1 coupon and doubler= .50
All were printables at one time.
Ok this whole thing, mostly the coupon doubler wording anyway, confuses the bejesus outta me.
My coupon doublers say “with any purchse of $15 or more (after all discounts have been subtracted and before all sales tax has een added, where applicable.) Limit 1 item per manufacturer’s coupon. Coupon excludes tabacco products, lottery tickets, milk and pharmacy items. Limit 4 coupons per household.”
So do I have to purchase $15 worth of stuff after doubled coupons?
Am I allowed to use multiple like coupons?
What does Limit 4 coupons per household mean? limit 4 coupon doublers coupons or limit 4 like manu coupons or just limit 4 unlinke manu coupons doubled?
Umm now I am confused. Must go get coffee and come back to address it.
@Shannon, I’m confused too. I have an extra ad, so 4 more coupons. Can my husband use those 4 in a transaction of his own even though his card is the same as mine? Does the computer keep track of that?
As for some of the other questions, I’m pretty sure it’s $15 after they scan your bonuscard but before coupons. We’re lucky it’s $15 and not a higher value. I have used two of the same manufacturer coupons and a dollar doubler with both of them in the past.

Caroline, I have had it both ways. I have had cashiers make it $15 after coupons and sometimes its $15 before coupons. That is the one thing I really dislike is that Giant is not really consistent with how they do things. Your husband should be able to use the other four doublers.
@Shannon, Have you tried using more than 4 coupons twice with the same bonus card? I tried a while back and it didn’t work. The register beeped when they were scanned, and I met the other requirements for usage (over 15.00).

The doublers are confusing. What I’ve found is you want to spend $23, this way you will be over $15 after the 4 $1 coupons and the 4 $1 doublers. If you are below $15 than the computer won’t take the doubler coupon. Than after the doubler coupons are in you can give the cashier more coupons without a problem, I got my total down to $2.72 today without any problems.
Oh and I found I found the Kandoo wipes are $1.50 for the 42 pack, $1 off 1 coupon from Sunday’s P&G insert doubled makes them a MM. :-)
Also the Philly Cooking Creme is $2.50 and you get $1 off when you buy 2, so combine that with the $1.50 off 1 blinkie for $.50 each. Makes a nice filler to get you above $15 to use the doubler coupon.
@Bonnie in PA, Oh… so each dollar doubler is only good to double one MQ worth a dollar? I had thought that each dollar doubler doubled multiple MQ’s.
So they mean limit of 4 dollar doubler coupon’s per household? Not limit 4 MQ’s per household?

I loved that my free Mrs. Paul’s coupon from a few weeks ago went along with buy Mrs. Paul’s get Bird’s Eye Veggie’s free!
Dannon Yogurt (for Kids) is 2.00 this week and there was a 1.00 coupon in the paper – so free after the doublers!
My doublers had written in the fine print, “can be used with magazine or newspaper coupons, not printable coupons.” Did anyone elses say this. Not sure if they are enforcing this or not. I used mine already with newspaper coupons.

They always have said this and I always ask, and they always say yes for the printables.
I used a doubler on the Deer Park Water that they have with a Giant coupon for $2.99. Back I think 2 weeks ago there was a $1 coupon so I used that one with the Giant one and got the case of water for .99 cents. :)
Used another one on Log Cabin (paid .79 for one) and used another on on the Success Rice so I can send out my MIR for Tangled. Rice was 1.69×2 minus $2 in coupons. So 1.38 and get back $5 for buying Tangled bluray.
I know that at my Giant in SE Pa. you get a $1.00 off your next order cat. when you buy two shake n bakes also. Every little bit helps! :)

@Daphyn, I have Martin’s in VA and we have the same coupons for our ad. I was going to do the Tropicana deal as well. I haven’t organized my coupons but I might use the Nutella coupon from a few weeks ago with a dollar doubler to get it cheaper.
