Just a heads up: I just got back from my local Walmart. The Neutrogena acne (bar) wash was 1.97 each and when I tried to use my $3.50/2 coupon it said not good for bars. They didn’t have any other Neutrogena item for .97.

Oddly enough, I feel very special also, as I am privy to all the great deals these hard working folks inform me of every day. HIYA and a karate chop to those who dis!

I wonder if “Anne” would be this rude if she wasn’t anonymous and hiding behind a keyboard!
Anne says
Wow! Unlucky me! I recieved the $2/2. To be in a region where the coupon is $2/1 would make me feel extremely special. For the manufacturer to have made a coupon that specifically takes off the whole balance of ONE bar at most every area merchant…I’m guessing they like giving away free items!?!?!? I would love to know which region it is that you state consumers are recieving the $2/ONE!!!!!!! Quite interesting and very odd I must say!
FortheMommas says
Anne,
There are many coupons that take the entire price of ONE item and make it free – if you read this site, you will see that all the time.
You can see the coupon is listed in the coupon database here >>> https://forthemommas.com/ftm-coupon-database?adv_search=1&search=met&search_all_words=1
You will notice it says R. This coupon database is a national coupon database used by MANY bloggers and coupon sites and is maintained by an outside company. There is no reason to be rude to Ashley as she is trying to help people save money.

i cannot find the reynolds baking cups in any walmart ! ( 2 closest to me that i have checked) BUT i did find them in weis, ranging from .99 to 1.29
Lauren says
I know Target also has them for a few cents more than $1.00. Sorry, can’t remember the exact price.
For The Mommas - Ashley says
Hi Jill.
I almost missed them myself. I was checking in the baking aisle with no such luck. However, they are located by the other Reynold’s products.. by the aluminum foil. Mine were all the way on the top shelf. Look for the $.92 sticker. :) I hope this helps you!

Keep looking for those Reynolds cups. I had the same problem when the coupon first came out. Some Walmarts DO carry them; I found some in an out of town Walmart after I had already got mine free at a local TOPS store.

Yes companies give coupons away and we take advantage of the free or close to free products.

How about those free item coupons we get too!!! Not very odd at all. I think you’re the one that is odd
Maria says
Companies send coupons for lots of free or close to free items. It’s called marketing
Carolyn says
Correct Maria!
Here try my product for FREE and “hopefully” you’ll like it enough to continue to buy it!!

Or, Let me put out a High Dollar coupon in a REGION where our sales are down on our product. Hopefully people will try it and continue to buy it.
Or, our sales are great in this REGION so $X/X coupon is good there because people are buying the product anyways.

I would like to speak up on this one,
Anne,
Let me first say I have been a FTM fan for 3 years. This site would NEVER intentionally post fraudulent deals! With that being said, I hope the following helps you understand Regional coupons.
Not sure where you live but, Where I live, In Southern PA, I have access to several different Sunday papers. I think its , don’t quote me, a total of 6 different papers I can choose from. ALL these papers can and have had DIFFERENT coupon inserts. When I say different (REGIONAL) I mean, they could have completely different inserts EXAMPLE: This past week I bought two Daily Local News (my usual go to Sunday paper). In the paper was 2 Red Plums and a Smart Source. I also noticed that the Smart Source included was NOT the insert that included the General Mills coupons ( once again REGIONAL) So I went to the Philadelphia Times and sure enough the Smart Source in THAT paper was the General Mills insert. Now, this past week I bought my papers, Daily Local News, at CVS. I usually buy my papers at the Dollar Tree. I have had inserts in the SAME paper, SAME week, Daily Local News, vary depending on which store I buy them at . Crazy but true. I hope this helps/clears up any questions you have reguarding REGIONAL coupons.
Now, as far as posts on FTM, this blog is one of THE most “coupon ETHICNAL ” groups out there. It is maintained by a VERY small group of people (under 5) who would like to help other provide for their families. I feel it is also our responsibility , as coupon users, to be educated and know the rules and use FTMs as a great, and lets not forget, FREE, guideline tool. This site would NEVER post a fraudulent “deal” on purpose, of course to error is human.
As for the RX bar coupon, I received the $2.00/1 coupon in my paper and would be more than happy to send the coupon to you via snailmail.
Thank You
Carolyn Pate

Hey Anne–I can understand your frustration having not gotten the better coupon. It’s always a bummer to find out there are better coupons out there, especially if you bought a paper to get them! When I find that this happens, if it’s something that’s a good deal and worth stocking up on for my family, then I’ll check out coupon clipping services or ebay to get a bunch of the good coupons to use. I believe that companies put out these high value coupons to get us buying their product, so that we will grow to love it and then buy more even when we don’t have coupons for it. Make sense? The couponing world is a bit confusing and overwhelming when you start checking it out. You’ll get the hang of everything soon enough and be saving lots of money for your family :) This blog taught me how to coupon–there’s a big learning curve for sure, but start small and stick to one store in the beginning. Good luck!

There are a lot of times when my coupons aren’t as good as other regions even in my own state. You take what you can get and try to make the best deals out of whatever coupons you have. Maybe this deal is not for you and you could save it for another purchase or just pass it up all together.
Sandy says
Coupon clearly states “Excludes Bar Soap”
Ashley R. says
Thanks Sandy. Use of a coupon database doesn’t show all fine print. Acne wash and makeup remover still qualify!
Heather says
:-( I didn’t get any of these in my paper.
Janet says
My parents in NJ usually get them but the Met RX is usually $2/2 not one?
Ashley R. says
The Met RX is a regional coupon.
