Did anyone try to use the 20.00 ECB from the diapers deal at CVS?
A shopper on another site is saying that one cashier told him that the ECB will only be worth 10.00 when scanned. I had no problems using them yesterday morning but I’m wondering if anyone tried to use them today.
There are comments on a lot of sites that the 20.00 ECBs are scanning at 10.00 and some cashiers are just changing the amount the 20.00. A lot of shoppers are arguing that they should be credited the full amount and getting the amount on the ECB from the store. I wish I had used them all yesterday. I may just let them expire. They made a mistake and should honor the amount of the ECB. I won’t argue about it at my local CVS because they are just awesome and I wouldn’t want to do anything to spoil my relationship with them.
I was able to drop the price even further with a surprise coupon from kiosk yesterday. Save $5 off any $10 baby care purchase I believe. I am confused how they figure the ECB’s. I bought three pullups and it would of came out to 29.97 but I still got $10 back. On bottom of receipt it says I need to spend 3 cents more to be eligible for next Huggies reward. Shouldn’t I of just got a $5 reward the first time? And if I buy one more pack of pullups what will my reward be?
The ECBs at CVS will print if your purchase is within 98% of required purchase. Since your total was 29.97, you got the 10.00. If you do another transaction for anything else, you will see that it will say limit reached for the Huggies deal since the limit is 1. You won’t get another 5.00 or 10.00 ECB.
The 98% rule sometimes doesn’t apply to items from PG.
Thank you Ruth for preventing me from making a mistake! ;)
I got the $5.00 of 15.00 to but I had already done the deal. Another thing to be aware of is that most CVS store will take their coupons after they expire so it is best to hang on to them.
