Maple Ginger Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe
It is summer. It is a HOT summer and nobody likes to turn on the oven to make dinner when it is 90 degrees out. We do a lot of grilling outside but sometimes you don’t have the time to grill. This is the perfect time to pull out your slow cooker. You can get things ready the night before and turn it on in the morning. It cooks all day without heating up your kitchen and you come home to a delicious meal. If you use the slow cooker liners, you don’t even have a pan to clean.
If this sounds like something you do, then you may want to try our Maple Ginger Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe. You make it with bone in chicken drumsticks (or any bone-in chicken you prefer) and a yummy sauce made with maple syrup and ginger. This is a great time of year to pick up drumsticks. They are usually on sale and you may even have a package in the freezer leftover from 4th of July. Score!

I would have never thought to have added maple to a chicken recipe. I bet the combination with ginger is an interesting flavor. Thanks for sharing!
I love the maple and ginger combination – especially in a slow cooker! Looks delicious!
I love slow cooker recipes! Especially with these ingredients! Must try!
my kids love anything with maple syrup, I am going to try this one.
Slow cooker recipes are a favorite of mine. I would have to reduce the ginger to 1 teaspoon, hubby doesn’t like it very strong. Other than that perfect.
