I also saw on the rebate list online that there are 3 SCR’s that look like they qualify, plus the $5 UPR is you spend $25.

    1- Buy 4-Crest Mouthwashes get a $10 SCR
    2-Buy 1 Oral B Action toothbrush get a $2.99
    3-Buy $25 worth of Crest/Oral/Scope and get a $5 SCR.

I am going to get my receipt and see what comes back but this would make it an AWESOME DEAL!!! Anyone else see that?

Nicole, I Tried it. Already got my SCRs to go through…#1 in your example went thru, #2- in your example went through, but #3 didn’t. Rats!!! lol.

I went for ages doing better at Rite Aid then CVS. I went there with my mother in law and used up all my money and there hasn’t been anything to pull me back for awhile and I have been reading the posts that everyone is having issues with the $3 off $15 coupon so I was glad. Maybe it is time to jump back into the game. I guess I will have to look to see if there is anything else to make it worth the trek!! Thanks for the heads up :)

Hi Shannon – I am looking at my July 2011 rebate book and don’t see the $10 SCR for crest pro health, although the sale starts 7/31. Assuming it’s in the August book, do I need to wait until 8/1 to do the deal? I am also SUPER BUMMED because I realized while looking thru the July book that I bought the wartner product one day too early, so I lost my $10 UP that I used for that purchase. Time to slow down and do all the reading. Boy is this a learning experience! Thx for your help!

  5. Sam says:

I have a question. I bought the 3 for 15 shoe inserts on Sunday and turned the receipt in online. Looking at te rebate dates it states that the rebate started on the 27th. Will I still get the rebate even though I purchased the item on Sunday?

  6. Tracie says:

I am not a fan of the SCR program…been shopping at Rite Aid for over a year now and only got 1 check. My fav store manager said to call corporate but, I just haven’t yet…..thinking I will personally stay away from out of pocket money and the fate of the SCR program.

    • Shannon says:

Thats funny Tracie. Us old school Rite Aid shoppers Love the SCR program and dislike the UPR. I would love to go back to all SCR.

      • Jessica says:

Ooh me too! I miss the easy SCR that didn’t leave you with +UP’s to roll every week. I hate feeling like I have to shop there each week to figure out what to do with my +UP’s. My checks always, never had a problem.

      • J says:

        Checks:
Pro: They are real money not just RA money.
Con: Even if you get 100% reimbursed, you still paid sales tax so nothing is ever truly free.

        +UPs:
Pro: They are instant and when you use them you really can get items for free often without paying the additional sales tax on the full amount.
Con: They expire quickly and are only good at RA.

So, I sort of like the hybrid system they have going on right now. I feel like RA is in a scrambling phase right now trying to sort our their promos, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see something totally different in the near future…without any warning of course b/c that’s the RA way!

        • Lissa says:

I’m not sure where you live and if tax rules differ there, but here in WA we pay sales tax on the total amount before any coupons/UPs so we would pay the same amount of tax where its with UP or SCR. I wish you could coupon off tax!!

          • Shannon says:

Every state is different per the tax laws. Some states will reduce to zero. I never take tax into consideration on deals because there are so many different ways to calculate it and percentages.

  7. lisa says:

  8. DJD says:

I was wondering was a UPR and SCR were..sorry never did this before but i would love to start so i can save money thanks..

  9. TARA says:

I had a question regarding the scr. Can you get more than 1 rebate a month? You would get reimbursed for the mouth wash and toothpaste?
I brought a John Frieda shampoo and Got2b product last month and it says that only the shampoo was eligible? I brought them on the same transaction, filled in all the req details etc and it is still sitting in my rebate box :(

  10. Melissa says:

    What is an SCR?
