It was a good day at Rite Aid. My transactions were a little screwy, so I don’t have a really good transaction for you to follow this week. You can follow the one I posted here.
A couple things to note:
1. The Conair deal is excellent – I didn’t have this planned for this week, but the clerk pointed out the $2.00 UPR with the $2.99 brushes and I tested to see if it would be double dip. It is – you can see it here.
2. The Zarbees packaging did not match the ad at all. I am hoping this is the right product. I paid with this with cash so I could return it if the SCR doesn’t clear. Did you find the same boxes?
3. I forgot my Gain coupons at home.
The best part of the trip, my $20.00 UPR finally printed from the get $20 wyb $100.
How did you do at Rite Aid? Do you see any other great deals at Rite Aid this week?
I am still waiting for the $20 +UPR to print; I was at a Rite Aid 10/28 and it still had not printed. But I had finished the $100 in purchases less than a week before that. Does it only print at the store where you earned the points? I cannot imagine it has to be the same store.

Shannon how long did you have to wait until you got your 20up? I have been waiting almost two weeks (did an order last week and now this week) was thinking it would print today because i hit 100 last week – but it didn’t print :(
It took awhile! I hit my $100 the first week in October.. I called and they said to wait until the end of the month.
there was a $1 off coupon in my zarbee box.
what is the 20 off of 100 is that a neww promotion?
I bought the wrong zarbees last week and my scr didn’t clear, so I returned it and bought the correct one….and that one cleared…but my question is, can I still purchase one this week and enter it for the scr? (the one I mistakenly bought last week and submitted was the one that is for this week and it was on my cc)

I am confused. You purchased this weeks SCR by accident last week and it didn’t clear? You should be able to purchase it again this week – also if you are going to the local store, they had an endcap near the vitamins filled with them.
thanks Shannon, I got the right one this week….last week the scr was for the syrup zarbees, but I accidentally bought the drink, which is the one with the scr for this week…(if you look at the rebate flier, it says you have to purchase them within certain time frames.)I was afraid that since I had already bought it and returned it I wouldn’t be able to try again for the scr this week.
Now, my next ? is the emergen c that was on sale last week and scr last week was completely out at the local store, even after they got their “truck” load in, they still didn’t get it. I got a rain check,but can I still submit for the scr even though I had to purchase it outside of the sale date?..
yep.. you can .. there are specific instructions on the website on how to do it.
Haha! I was sitting at the checkout lane thinking, how in the world did i forget the laundry soap coupons? Glad i wasnt the only one. Had a wierd experience today though, i had the manager come out and halt my transaction. He wanted to know where i was reselling the items. Maaaaan i havent ever even thought about that, i can barely even stock pile due to having a family of 5. So should i ignore it and just never go to that store again, or call corporate? Would that even do anything? Its not like i ever want to go there again regardless…feeling like poopy for using a few coupons

See I would do the opposite, I would bring all of my kids in with me and shop. Maybe he wouldn’t run his mouth if he sees you with a large family who might actually USE the stuff you get. Crazy concept !
I would also call corporate and let them know he made you feel like crap, but keep going back.

Best trip so far started with 8 up got up to 35 ended with 15 took an hour to check I got 359.60 cents in product. iahve enoguh makeup to last a while. I spent 21 17 of it was tax! Looking forward to next week has anyone seen a deal on simply saline or coupon fir it it is bogo at 6 when u spend 10 u get a 5 up. Also zicam is 8-7u hoping for a coupon to make that free.
there is a $2 zicam Q on the mfg webpage, I printed it yesterday.

What is the 20UPR for 100 include?
I got the Zarbees product both last week and this. My daughter has a horrible cold/virus that makes her throat very painful and her voice very hoarse. I tried to get her to use the syrup — she gagged because it was so thick and sweet! She is almost 6 and refused to finish the dosage. Today I got the drink packets, and was able to get her to drink the “tea” — it works! She is now taking a much needed nap and her throat was soothed before drifting off.

I am going across the street to check on the Concair deal for the HR area. Even if it doesn’t work…I made over $5.00 at Rite Aid today! :-)
Also, as I posted in my blog, BOLO for the sample packs of Tug-a-boo diapers. If you buy diapers regularly and have your 20% discount, you can pick up some $1.00 coupons in those sample packs for $0.79. Not bad if you’re using the diapers.
Concair is not in the Hampton Roads region.

I talked to my pediatrition about the Zarbees and he said it was a waste of money and it doesn’t work.
oohh, that’s sad! I used my UPS to get it…I have three kids so I was for sure going to need it this fall! :)

My nutritionist, several dozen nursing handbooks, and the pediatricians I work with all say that it will work to sooth coughs and help put children to sleep…the same way honey and straight melatonin will. Our grandparents and great-grandparents were using it effectively for decades, so I have a hard time understanding why your pediatrician would say this.
I have three kids – I swear by Zarbee’s products. They always work on my guys!
Agreed Julie. I prefer these over the other because its natural.
I am not pediatrician, but we love this stuff. We use lots of herbal and natural treatments and they do work. I don’t always trust what doctors say.
My Concair UPR didn’t print either :( It was still “free” because I had a bunch of UPR’s from last week but still disappointing.

I have a question about the Veet coupon in the Rite Aid paper. The cashier said it was a manufacturer’s coupon so I couldn’t use it with the other 2.00 coupon. Is that correct because when I look at the coupon it has the RC at the beginning and it says it only can be used at Rite Aid?
Couponing is so confusing for me sometimes. Thanks for any help. :)

Technically, the cashier is both correct and incorrect.
The coupon is labeled as “manufacturer’s coupon.” Technically, it is paid for by the manufacturer.
However, it begins with RC, which means it is not good outside of Rite Aid. Rite Aid is in some way paying for or benefiting from the sale of this coupon.
Most Rite Aids should run both; their paper says as much (show the cashier the front page where the coupon for the Clairol STATES that both the coupon from the paper and the coupon from Rite Aid will be used). However, if the store management doesn’t want to risk having one of the coupons rejected, they may not accept them both.
This is going to be a YMMV situation. Go to a different store and see if they will do it. Or bring the paper in and show them the first page.

The Rite Aid Coupon policy specifically outlines using the RC49 and Manufacturer with a 5. I would print the policy off their website and take it in and show the cashier.

I give my Rite Aid coupon before my regular manufacturer coupon. I don’t have a problem that way. It worked today for me.
My Rite Aid had the cold buster warming syrup on clearance for 4.29-still got the $8,00 ECB!!

My Zarbees was the same box as yours as well. I checked w/ the clerk who was pretty sure I bought the correct product. We actually noticed that if you look closely at the box pictured in the ad that it isn’t the same product as in the description. In the lower right hand corner of the box you can see that it says 7 servings while the description says 6 servings. I checked the rebate list when I got home and the one that you show above is the one pictured for the rebate.

I did the Gain deal, I had (4) $2/1 coupons and from todays paper there were $1/l coupons. I got 10 UP so it made $1.67 each, not bad at all. I also did the Arm and Hammer cat litter deal and had (2) $1.50/1, so $2 each. The Thermacare $3/1 coupons went through with no problem and the $4 UP printed out. What a great week, Thank You Rite Aid!
