how do you cash in your UPRs for SCRs?
Yeah, I’m curious what you meant too! And I still say RA does better than CVS all around, even if they have a couple of blah weeks now and then. Guess we are all different!
Nikki, use your UPR to buy SCR items.
Anyone know if there is the possibility of a double-dip on the Up rewards for the Nivea? I saw they were running the buy $100, get $40+ for the Nivea products, but I remember seeing a skin care promo where if you bought $50, you got $15+…and I think Nivea was included with that, too.
Yes, It is double dip.But only nivea lotion and cream included for both. For men skin care items didn’t count for me. I got enough nivea lotion an get $40 and $15 skincare UP.
I was a big RA fan but after another blah week at RA I’m thinking about cashing in my UPRs for SCRs and focusing attention on CVS instead
I’m about to give up on Rite Aid too after doing so well there for a long time. The new coupon rules sucks. In my town, there are tons of coupons shoppers and some go to the Rite Aid on Saturday afternoon so there is nothing there on Sunday. The only way to get anything is to do a special order.

At my RiteAid in York, PA….the Excedrin that is on for $3.99 is a smaller count then is required for the $1.50 coupon….however, right next to the sale Excedrin, was a package of 100 count with a bonus 24 count attached on clearance for $4.99, which the $1.50 coupon could be used too!
ugh! No noxzema coupon for me in my inserts, hence, no free razors. I seem to have so many discrepencies in my inserts anymore it’s getting harder to plan my shopping a week ahead. I think the thing thats frustrating is how my rite aid flyer tells me to look for the coupon in sunday’s paper- and its not even there!
Not sure that’s much of a loss. I tried those recently and was not impressed. If I got them for free, I would just donate them to charity.
Yeah- I agree- they are not very good.
I like the purple ones…but the pink ones are pretty cheap!
Melissah, do you have a newspaper available from a bigger city? I get my local paper and a paper from the city every sunday. If the RA ad says it’s in the paper and it’s not in my local one, it’s in the. Just something to check.
*in the city paper. Sorry, it’s late and i’m tired :)
I also noticed my RP had so many different coupons than the blogs post about. I discovered this weekend that when I go to the grocery store to get the paper, I thumb through every single paper… I found that papers in the same grocery store I was in had different red plums! I felt so deceived after all this time gettig the wrong paper with the not-so-great coupons. Now I’m getting the good ones!
I’ve been having the same problem. My inserts are so bare compared to all the coupons listed in the database for those inserts. Plus, instead of getting coupons for $0.50/1 or $0.75/1, I get $1/2. So I can’t even take advantage of the coupon doubling that the grocery stores offer :(
I just got back from Rite-Aid to get the Benefiber. I was able to use the $3.00 man, $3 printable Rite-Aid coupon & the $1.00 Rite-Aid Video Value Coupon. After the rebate, it will be free.
Last week at Walgreens (during the free pantyliner deal), I found a tearpad with coupons for $2 off a Burt’s Bee sensitive skin product and there’s also a $2 SCR for sensitive skin face product and buy if you buy $15 worth of Burt’s Bees, you get $5 UPR.
benefiber $3 off manufacturer coupon for a better deal
