I was wondering about the Right Guard scenario. It listed Buy 2 Right Guard BW @ $4.99 and get 2 $2 Ups. Did I see this correctly? The deal was compared to the Dial soap of buy 2 get $1 Ups.
Doesn’t sound the same.
Thanks for any clarification.
Shannon says
You read it right. It is exactly as it is listed.
Sonal says
sounds good :) thanks
Ada says
Does anyone have a survey code? I need one today.
Thanks!

So I’m new to all this, so forgive me if this has been asked before, but is there a limit to the number of UPRs you can get in one transaction? I want to take advantage of 7 different deals this week, so can I do them all in the same transaction or do I need to break it into separate ones? Thanks!
Shannon says
not dollars, but actual number of UPR, yes.. I think it is 18 or 19 right now.
Sonal says
I thought we can get just one SCR every month…
thats what i read in riteaid policies.
Shannon says
Sonal,
You can only request 1 check, but you can do all the SCRs each month if you wanted.
Sonal says
Thanks Shanon..you are great..
i had a great trip at Riteaid , bought lot of stuff –
2 Veet cream packs
1 blink tear eye drops
1 crest toothpaste
1 Oral B battery toothbrush
3 Aveeno body wash
1 Aveeno baby lotion
1 Aveeno baby soothing diaper rash cream.
ended up paying less than $5; got $10 UPR and will be getting
$7.99 SCR
so we can put all the bills together to get back the SCR by the end of the month like 30th june? please let me know
Shannon says
Sonal,
Have you entered your receipts into the SCR system online? Let me know.
Sonal says
Shanon,
not yet, i was thinking as just one check is allowed per month, shall i wait till the end of the month just in case i buy some more stuff with SCRs. Am i correct?
Shannon says
Sonal,
Here is what I do. When I come each time I shop, I enter the SCR in the system. Just do not request your check. This way you can make sure everything clears properly. So once you have everything entered at the end of the month, you then can request your check. If you check this post here – https://forthemommas.com/drug-store-deals/riteaid/rite-aid-101-updated and scroll half way down you will see how it looks and you can keep track of your check amount.

Okay so this weekend I had togo get something for the poison ivy I have from head to toe. I looked on line at Rite Aid and the good stuff was $34.00 (ouch). So I got my $10.00 ups from last week, my last $3 off $15.00 survey coupon and headed out. I was able to get a equal product for $25.00 a gel $5.99 and some aveeno bath 8.99. After my ups, coupons 10% and SCR it will cost me $21.00. In addiion the aveeno is tracking and I can go buy 3 more and get the $10.00 in ups later this week.
Not too bad for starting out with just and itchy rash and an emergency run.
Shannon says
Thats the sign of a true saver :)

Shannon you have inspired me to use my brain and start coming up with different scenarios that work in my own unique situation with UP rewards and such. One year ago I didn’t even clip coupons, shh don’t tell anyone. It is a skill to save money, I had to train my brain to use the coupons. When I first started following FTM I was soooo lost with the verbiage (OOP, UPS, SCR). I sure have come a long way and the new coupon clipping diva is here to stay. Thank you Shannon, you made it all possible.
Shannon says
You made me cry. Thanks melissa.. I appreciate you as a regular contributor here and I owe all the regulars for all their help!
jen says
i thought at RA if you bought 2 of the same items that had a +up you only received 1 actual +up reward?
Shannon says
Jen,
It depends on the item. and the limits.
jen says
i left out a very important part – my question should read –
i thought at RA if you bought 2 or more of the same items in the same transaction that had a +up you only received 1 actual +up reward? key part being “in the same transaction”.
in your post you show that you bought 3 toothbrushes in 1 transaction and you got 3 +up rewards. anytime i bought more than 1 in the same trans, i only got 1 +up.
Shannon says
Jen,
That is not correct. It depends on the number of UPR limit. If the limit is 4, you can buy 4 in one transaction.
Lissa says
Well I did pretty good! Actually went to RA today as I REALLY wanted the Veet deal and last time around those were gone by the time I got there. I didn’t have any UPs from previous weeks to roll as the last couple weeks have been pretty slim pickings and I didn’t receive the $5 hair accessory UP last week or one of my $10 weekend warrior UPs AND I let $10 worth expire accidently. *sob* AND I have FIVE $3wyb$15 surveys that the website is having errors on and not letting me get the coupon for!!! I have an email pending to CS so it should get taken care of shortly. But sadly I had to pay a good chunk OOP this week. I got (2 diff. transactions):
(2) Veet cream – $5.84 w/ 10% disc. each
(1) Veet wax strips – $4.04 w/ 10% disc.
(1) Veet other cream – $5.39 w/ 10% disc.
(1) John Freida root lift – $4.99
(1) John Freida flyaway touchup – $8.99 w/ 10% disc.
(1) Oral-B Crossaction power toothbrush – $5.99
(1) Blink Tears – $7.99
(3) American greetings cards – $1.79 each w/ 10% disc.
used:
-(1) $3/1 FB coupon for Veet
-(3) $2/1 couponnetwork.com coupon for Veet
-(1) $1/1 June VV for Veet
-(2) $2/1 in-ad coupon for Veet (I did one set of 2 Veet in each transaction)
-(2) $2/1 JF coupon from SS 6/5 (sad, no $5/1 coupons here)
-(1) $3/1 Oral-B coupon from PG 6/5
-(1) $2/1 Blink coupon from RP 4/22
-(1) $1/3 American greetings printable pdf coupon
Using ups from the 1st transaction, I ended up paying OOP: $24.62 (eek!) but I have $5UPR from Veet and $17.99 in SCR pending from JF & Blink. So final transaction = 1.63! Good since I had more expensive Veet here and I chose to get the 8.99 JF instead of 2 of the 4.99 ones.
Bummers:
-The Crest Pro-Health for me wasn’t included in the sale so I couldn’t use the $1/1 coup and decided to scrap that deal.
-My RA did not carry Crunch bars!! Seriously??
-Of course, no $1.29 cards. still 1.79 not bad
-The 2.29 Dial handsoap was all sold out so no $0.15 soap :(
Jennifer says
Can anyone please tell me if I can use the $5 UP Rewards Coupon from the Veet deal to get 2 more Veet products in another transaction?
Shannon says
yes.
Rachel says
Are you still getting a survey coupon with every purchase? Since I haven’t been getting them lately, I’ve been shopping at Rite Aid less. Like every couple of weeks… I miss those $5/$25 coupons!
Shannon says
I had 8 scripts filled this week..so I got alot of the $3.00 coupons. But you dont even need them this week for money makers.
Rachel says
Ahhh…that makes sense. The only one I’ve received in the last few weeks was for a prescription purchase.
heather says
shannon.. where are the coupons for the veet and john frieda?? thank you!
Heather
Shannon says

Miranda M says
I’m bummed I was in a rush and got the wrong toothbrush (I picked up the pulsar) so I didn’t get the $2.99, I did get $1.00+up for oral care though which helped. Also got the veet which is great!
Melissa S says
Hey Shannon,
I thought someone might be interested in this scenario as I try to use as little OOP money. It works great if you did the Veet deal and have the 5 UP and 3/15 Survey coupon.
Proglide Razor 9.97
Oral B battery toothbrush 5.99
15.96
use 3 off 15 survey
use 3 off Oral B toothbrush (P&G 6/5/11)
use 4 off Pro-glide (P&G 6/5/11)
use your Veet 5 UP
pay .96 OOP and get 6 UPS
Also the Nestle bars had to be manually entered in as they were still ringing up .69 for some reason. Keep an eye out for the Nestle bars ringing in wrong.
Kandi says
I bought
2 Gillete Fusion Razors
3 Oral B toothbrushes
2 manual toothbrushes
2 Veet
Cost after coupons: $18.36
Used 15 UPR from suncare and paid $3.36 and got back $25 in UPR! Woo hoo! I love Rite Aid!
