Help Marie Callender’s Give Comforts From Home to Our Troops
What does home mean to you? I’m sure if I asked that of all of our readers we would get hundreds if not thousands of different responses.
I’m Debbie, one of the bloggers at forthemommas.com. For me home is a comfy chair, my furry friend by my side and a good book. Home also means Mom’s cooking. I’ll still take her tuna casserole over a fancy restaurant meal any day of the week. I ask for it whenever I visit.
Here is a photo of another forthemommas.com blogger, Shanta’s family.
Hi there, I am Shanta and this is my family, Husband Derrick, daughter Jazmyn, Son Derrick(who we affectionately calls him DJ.) What reminds me of the comforts of my home is my kitchen, I love my kitchen! I love to cook and try new recipes, I may do more cooking/baking in the cooler months. My family also loves our deck, we moved in 2 years ago and our first meal was on the deck. The deck is like an extra living space but an outside living space. These are just a few things that remind me of the Comforts From Home!
These are just two examples of what we think of as home. For others it may be a location, or grand children on your knee, or watching your kids play in the front yard. We all may have different answers, but we all have something that provides comfort from home.
