I watched this movie over the weekend.
My love of cooking and blogging combined into one. Need I say anymore? I just put on my Christmas list a late addition – Julia Child’s book Mastering the Art of French Cooking. I am afraid that this is going to unleash a little project of my own.
I am feeling inspired. Meryl Streep just amazed me as Julia. She is such a great actress. I am not sure if you don’t like food or blogging that you would love the movie. My husband thought it was incredibly slow and my Mom thought it was just ok.
The food scenes were the best! I think this upcoming year I might take on a few of Julia’s recipes.
Do any of you own MTAOFC? Do you love it? Hate it?

How funny! My brother has been pressuring to see this movie ever since I told him about my blog!! :]
I guess I should look into it :]
You know I’m not a cook at all.
But I serious want to do something like that with Pioneer Woman’s recipes..would that be stalkerish?
I don’t own the book either, but recently saw the movie and LOVED it…in fact I think it has made its way on to my top 10 list…which is a very hard thing to do!
Merry Christmas!
I don’t own the book, but I saw the movie for the 1st time on the plane to SF for Saving.com Save Up event (I found that to be incredibly ironic) which YOU sent me to (pretty much!) Fantastic movie which is also on my Christmas list! (I hope my mom reads your blog!!
)
I love to cook but MTAOFC would most likely scare the crap out of me and I’d probably voluntarily resign myself to eating a year’s worth of McDonald’s drive-thru after reading a few recipes… Just sayin’.
Good luck! YOU can do it!
Own MTAOFC, Julie and Julia-the book, read the project while it was in works and hopefully will own the movie Christmas Morning!
Cooked Beouf Bourguignon last night also LOVE Coq au Vin. Great books!
