  1. isabelle says:

    is this deal over?

  2. michelle says:

Do all Weis stores go by shelf price, because I was there twice and I did ‘nt receive a 5 off catalina, but did get the ones from el paso and hamburg helper

  3. Rebecca says:

Michele-it would be the $3.50 that would go toward the Catalina. Just tried it myself.

I was looking for the most bang with the least amount of intial OOP. I plan to take my Cats and roll them at least 1 more time, maybe twice, or into the purina catalina.

Here’s what I did combining the GM and Pillsbury Catalinas, and using 2 of the
Yellow “Better At Home” coupon booklets I found in my Weis store:
6 chicken helpers (sale price 10/$10 or $1 each)
3 Progresso Soups (Sale price 2/$3 or $1.50 each)
3 Old El Paso Taco Seasoning (Sale price 3/$2)
    4 Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls (3/$5)
    2 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (3/$5)
    Total $22.50

    Used the following Q’s:
    2- $1/2 Refrigerated Sweet Rolls
    1-$1/3 Old El Paso Products
    1-$1/3 Progresso Soups
    2-$1/3 Hamburger or Chicken Helper
1-$1/2 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (I think this was from 9/12 Sunday insert)

    My OOP today: $15.50
    Got:
    $10 OYNO
    $3 OYNO
$3 OYN hamburger, chicken, or tuna
    $1 OYN beef or chicken
    Ready to roll again.

  4. Michele says:

So… I’m still not understanding (sorry!), if something cost 3.50 and is on sale for 2.00, is it the 3.50 that goes towards the cat or is the 2.00?

  5. Kelly says:

WOW this is going to be one AWESOME sale! In addition to the Green Giant catalina, there are three others for Pillsbury, Old El Paso, and Hamburger Helper!

    -Buy 5 get $2 OYNO
-Buy 6 more get $3 OYNO

-Save $3 on your next beef or chicken when you buy any 6

-Buy 4 get $2.00 oyno of beef or chicken

    (Thanks HCW!)

  6. K says:

Ok I’m still confused, the $25 is it before or after coupons. It mentions shelf price but then another comment states $25 after coupons.

  7. Valarie Margretta says:

In regards to Karens questions…wouldnt it be 25.00 shelf prices before coupons?

  8. beth says:

    so $3 would count?

  9. Mary says:

For the Bisquick, can you tell us the size for it?

  10. Danielle says:

So do you think you’d only get the cat if you bought the “Just for One” boxes? (Since the others are bags?)

  11. Jenn says:

    Okay, so just to be completely clear … If an item’s shelf price is $3 and it’s on sale for $2 and you have a $1 Q, then $2 counts toward the catalina? {I feel like that was an algebra question. LOL}

I’m not a big fan of Weis b/c mine doesn’t round up Qs and doubling isn’t totally straightforward but for a sweet enough deal, I’ll head over there.

    Thanks! :)
    -Jenn

  12. Bonnie in PA says:

There is also a Green Giant cat going on as well. The printout I got the other day says buy any Green Giant Frozen Boxed Vegetables between 9/6 and 10/3 save up to $3.
    Buy 4 get $1
    Buy 6 get $2
Buy 8 or more and get $3

  13. Laura says:

I would be in heaven if I could restock my Lucky Charms!! I refuse to pay more than $0.25 a box for cereal….and unfortunately it has been a long time since I’ve gotten LC!! mmmm!!! any idea what the shelf price is for these?? i’m thinking at least $3.xx??

  14. kadywood says:

I’m confused and I have a dumb question. If the catalina is based on shelf prices being reached, why would it matter if you spend $25 before or after coupons (karen’s question). It’s probably obvious to others, but clear as mud to me!

  15. Joel says:

Will this catalina be able to be combined with the Pillsbury catalina? If so, the deal would be even better!

  16. Karen says:

this may sound dumb, but is the $25 you have to spend before (or after) coupons?

  17. Sharon says:

Went back and read that you had already said that! sorry for the repeat!! Just excited about great deals.

  18. Sharon says:

I see Pillsbury products. Hope Weis is having the catalina for Pillsbury, too.
Could be one sweet deal. :)

  19. Cheryl says:

Thanks so much for the heads up! I guess the GM cereals are only $2 ea since they are listed in the ad 3/$6? Great job on a wonderful site…..you help our family of 5 eat well for much less. :)

  20. Danielle says:

    Thank you!

  21. Bonnie says:

Under view for your browser, just choose zoom in a couple of times and you should be able to make out the pictures enough to know what is part of the sale.

  22. Danielle says:

    Shannon,
Do you know where I could get a larger ad scan for the page you have listed? I just wanted to see the “deets” clearer. :)
    Thanks!
    Danielle
