I am so extremely jealous. I cant even come close to doing that. We have Walmart here too. We had 4 grocery stores before Katrina but not a single one came back. Winn Dixie isnt too far, about 18 miles. But they dont offer Catalinas. I dont know a store down here that does! If I could find one I would SOOO go there! Great job!
You’re so lucky! At my Weis you can’t get the Unilever catalina unless you spend $20. But I’ll do the Eggo and Kellogg’s on Saturday if they still have stock. Do you know if the Cinnabon/Corn Flakes Cinnamon cereals (that have individual coupons) are on sale this week too?

I am impressed – I’m just getting into this couponing/deals thing, and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed, but when you spell everything out for me, it makes it easy! I went and got 5 of the Cinnamon Corn Flakes and 5 Cinnabon and used a .75 coupon on each of them (and for some fluke it doubled all of them even though it’s only supposed to double the 1st 4) and used a 7.00 cat from doing the previous deal and got 17.00 back! Then the register spit out a coupon for 1.00/2 more Cinnamon Corn Flakes so I used 3 of those, another .75 one and a 1.00/3 and got more for 14.50 (got some milk for filler) – used the 17.00 cat and then got 17.00 back – this has been a great week at Weis – I think I ended up with 30 boxes of cereal, 12 boxes of poptarts, 10 packs of crackers and I started paying 14oop and have $27 left in Cat

Wow, now I’m going to have to go to Weis. I don’t think I’ve been there since the 4th of July sale.
Shannon, that’s great!! I’ve been rolling my $17 catalinas into 10 boxes of Pop Tarts and a small filler. For every 5 different flavors of Pop Tarts that I enter on the Sprinklings website I can print a free movie ticket. Between myself, my husband, my mom, and my brother, we have 14 tickets so far! You’re totally right about Weis, they are great at restocking. The church’s food bank will be good on breakfast food after the past 2 weeks!
Good for you! I went to Weis last night to do the Kellogs deals but they were almost sold out of everything. I wanted to do the deal several times but they did not have enough stock. I did the Gaint deal last week though so I am good on breakfast for awhile. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful deals!
I am so jealous that you can do so well. Here in WNY we do not have Giant, Weis, Redners, ShopRite, or any of the grocery stores you mention. Maybe some day……

I have a qestion for you Kelly. The 10 boxes of pop tarts alone are enough for both catalinas? I was scared to try so i keep buying 2 boxes of ceral to get me over $20. Thanks

I’m just wondering if you have ever had any contact with Weis corporation on the shelf price vs. sale price issue? I did the ragu cat. deal today and my cat. didn’t print. The women at the desk acted like I was trying to cheat because with the sale prices the price didn’t add up to $20. I am considering calling to speak with a manager, but don’t know if I would get anywhere or not. Thanks for any input you can give.

I am glad you pointed out that you are going to give some of this away. Just to point out again this is a way for people to give that might not have the means otherwise. I did the cracker deal at giant last week and was able to donate many boxes to our church for our sunday school classes. This is one of my favorite things to do… find deals to help ohters!!!!!
Oh and I am also glad you pointed out that you didn’t clear out the shelf. I get so upset when I see people doing this!!! I can’t get that trip to Target out of my mind. I am still upset with the rude man that was running back and forth filling up his carts with toys so he could resell, when there were parents shopping, trying to get a few items for their children and he was snatching the toys right from under them. Still makes me upset,….
What else does the $17 catalina cover besides the cereal? (did that one twice) I don’t have the Eggo Fruit & Granola coupons so I’m wondering what I can substitute.

Thanks for posting this deal. I was able to get in out it today. I am trying to teach my oldest how to shop and she was impressed that she was able to buy all her items for under $2 after rolling the cats I gave her. Plus we still have a $10 cat left.
