I know I’m not a “Super Saver” but I was able to get 11 boxes of the Toaster Strudel, 12 containers of Yoplait Yogurt, and 4 packages of Thomas English Muffins for $19 today!

Thanks so much for posting the deals for the week!

Do you have the coupon policy for Weis? I went yesterday (even though I tend to go to Giant mostly), mainly because I received a month’s worth of extra store coupons (4 per week). When I realized I could make a killing, I did bigger shopping and spent $20.92, but saved $60.41 (74%)! However, this was not without a lot of wasted time at the register…the store coupons I got were $10 off a $50 purchase, $5 off a meat purchase (when $50 spent), a free 12 pack of Pepsi and free Weis ice cream (when $10 spent). My pre-coupon total was $54 or so, and immediately the register started beeping and EVERY coupon that was scanned was denied…it took the manager over 10 minutes to push everything thru…he said it was because I should take the MFR coupons off first (I was in the self-check out lane)…but NO WHERE does it say that these in-store coupon totals must be met after mfr. What’s your thought on this? I run into this at Giant as well, but at least their wording is pretty specific on their coupons. Long story short, he was a very nice manager and didn’t give me any problems, but I’m wondering if I should torture myself again next week for the same sort of deals.

I run into this every time at the self-checkout. Almost every coupon beeps.
