Awesome. Thanks for the info. I will have to check this out in the next day or so. I love my Cocoa Krispies and Honey Smacks. LOL. Some things you never out grow. I will let you know if it works for me.

  2. Ann says:

Shannon, after last week’s deal at Giant, if I bring any more breakfast items home, my husband is liable to lose his mind. Maybe I can put a box together for the food pantry!

  3. Mary Jo says:

It did work for me. I bought 10 boxes of Mini Wheats (3 for $7) and used (3) $1.25/3 boxes of Kellogg’s coupons and got the $10 catalina and the $7 catalina. The boxes also have codes to earn free movie tickets!! My total OOP was $2.58 ($0.26 per box of cereal and some free movie tickets)

I also got 12 boxes of Pop-tarts ($1.69 each) and used (4) $1/2 coupons and got both catalinas again. These also have codes for movie tickets! This was a $0.27 moneymaker not including the tickets. And, if I had 2 more coupons I could have made 2 more dollars.

I also did the Giant PA promotion last week and got 30 boxes of cereal, 10 boxes of Eggos, and 20 boxes of crackers!! Going to see what other coupons I have and what deals I can come up with! Lots of donations to my food bank!!

  4. sheri grennille says:

this worked for me this morning except for twice (yep, did it five times). i think the sticky product was the nutrigrain bars or poptarts not counting toward the $7 (i got a $3 once and once they gave me $7 in weis bucks. i didn’t argue about only getting the $3, because, it was such a great deal. i had coupons from inserts for eggos, nutrigrain, mini wheats, poptarts; found coupons in the store for nutrigrain and used fuel for school coupons to get free coffee and juice. there were a lot of combinations, i tried to buy the products we like most and i know we’ll use.

  5. Nicole says:

I love that I found your site! Thanks for letting us know ;-)

  6. jodie potter says:

is there a limit on the catalina? i did poptarts last week. will it work for cereal this week?

  7. Danielle says:

where are the terms listed for the catalina? I had no idea there WAS even a catalina! (maybe I’m blind. lol)

  8. Sandra says:

The Fiber one coupon will not work because it is not a Kelloggs cereal, right? I wish I had a Weis nearby but my mom does and we are going to try this out as her first couponing expereince. I love your site, thanks for all you do!

  9. Kelly W says:

Ugh! Your killing me! Come On Acme – give me a good week and put me out of my misery. :)

  10. Kristin M says:

Would love to know if the cats are rolling too! (On the same products)

  11. Jen says:

I’m a bit new to working with Weis. Does the Catalina print before you pay? Is that how the OOP is so low?

  12. Allison says:

Same here, I bought 10 boxes of cereal Saturday night….my hubbie will think I am nuts! BUT I am likely to do it anyway and possibly donate to our local food bank when the elementary school has its food drive.

  13. jodie potter says:

worked for me, $10 + 7 printed! fiber plus not included in $2 / box sale, but cinn corn flakes and cinnabon were. also cinn corn flakes was try me free after rebate, so i’ll get a little more back! cha ching! thanks, shannon!

  14. kris says:

They are for pop tarts! I haven’t tried rolling anything else yet.

  15. Becky says:

Does anyone have a list of which cereals are included in the 5/$10?

  16. Becca says:

I did it tonight with 6 boxes of Cinnabon bars and 4 boxes of pop-tarts. Spent $11.65 out of pocket and got the $10 cat. and the $7 cat.
Best part about it is that my Cinnabon bar boxes had .75 off 2 coupons on the back so I’m going to head back tomorrow to buy 10 boxes of Cinnabon bars for $12.50 plus some fillers so I can pay with my $17 and PRAY that the catalina’s work again.
Does anyone know what the catalina is going to end?

  17. jodie potter says:

i got cinn corn flakes, cinnabon, rice krispies, and i remember also seeing apple jacks, regular corn flakes…not sure what else. the fiber one wasn’t included, nor was the special k granola – DARN! none of the ‘healthy’ kinds of cereal were in it, from what i could see.

  18. sharon says:

Found this catalina today at Weis. I registered tonight online and will go to Weis in a couple of days to get the $2 bonus and use toward the kelloggs catalina. I signed up for email coupons.

  19. Mary says:

I called Kellogg’s about the catalina. They told me it was going on till the 16th. I’ve ordered cases of poptarts from my Weis :) Yes…It IS rolling. This works on Rice Crispie Treats and Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks also.

  20. Twila says:

So is this pretty much mix and match, as long as you have $20.00 worth?

  21. Danielle says:

I’m so nervous it won’t roll for me like Giant did last week. I have a few leftover coupons, so I’ll give it a try. My main objective is to get up to 10 flavors of pop tarts for the 2 free movie tickets! Anyone have good experiences with the Weis Catalina rolling for them THIS week? (also – does anyone know if Frosted Mini Wheats are part of the “Selected” 5 for 10 cereals? THX!

  22. Laura K says:

    Seriously Shannon!

I did 25 Transactions at Giant and have an entire dining room table filled with Food, these deals are just too hard to pass up on! Now again at Weis Markets, it’s FREE Food after your initial investment, and with all the coupons, it really isn’t that much! I still have some of the Kellogg’s Fuel for School coupons too! Now, I just need to find that rebate form!!

  23. Anna says:

It is rolling however at least at my store, everytime you use the $10 cat they need a key- I’m guessing because it is so much? I don’t know about the Fiber cereal as I personally have not tried it yet, but I can confirm the cinnabon cereal, cornflakes, fruit loops, corn pops, frosted flakes, apple jacks, pop-tarts, rice crispies, sandwich crackers, mini-wheats, eggos, nurti-grain bars and cinnabon bars all work! The other great thing is I’m very careful about shelf-clearing, but last night I escaped without the kids so I did 4 transactions and I didn’t leave a dent- went back this morning for one more (with kids in tow so only one) and they had totally restocked the shelves!

  24. Amy says:

I tried today at Weis, and bought 6 boxes of cereal (1 Rice Krispies, 2 Corn Flakes Cinnamon, 1 Froot Loops, 1 Apple Jacks, and 1 Corn Pops) to get over the $12 minimum, and then used a coupon for $1/2 Corn Flakes Cinnamon, which I also found was Try Me Free! But I only got the $3 catalina and no $10 Kellogg’s catalina! I can’t really figure out what I did wrong, and I’m frustrated!

  25. carlspaniels says:

i just love your site did awsome deals last week at giant . And this is what i did today at weis i bought 6 poptarts 4 ricekrispie treats 1box cinnabon bars. used coupons that i found on a kelloggs display for 2.00 off 0n store brand bread ( =2 free loaves bread) when you buy 2 ricekrispie treats used 2 of them, had coupons for everything else total 20.00 -8.00 cpns = 12.14 received from catalina 10.00 cpn and 7.00cpn which i used to purchase12 jars of skippy peanut butter 1 axe shower gel had 6 1.00 cpns 0n 2 pb, 1 1.00 on gel total free plus i received a 5.oo catalina TOTAL OOP 7.14 thank you

  26. Anna says:

    Danielle,

The Frosted Flakes are part of the cat deal I did those myself, however, they are priced 3 for $7 or $2.33 apiece.

Also I have rolled this cat 5 times so far this week, so its going well!

Also Amy you have to buy 10 items and make sure its over $20 shelf price (the $12.00 is for getting back a $3 cat, $20 is for the $7) the $10 cat comes from buying 10 Kelloggs items, so to get both you have to buy 10 items AND make sure the total shelf price (not sale price) is over $20. If you have no coupons, the cheapest way I’ve found to do this and get started is to buy 10 boxes of pop-tarts- you will pay $16.90 and get back a $10 cat and a $7 cat.

  27. Valarie says:

The catalina is rolling for me ….to the person ( sorry dont remember who asked) who asked about the frosted mini wheats are 3 for 7 and I believe they are included.

  28. Anna says:

Oops lol I said Frosted Flakes and I meant Mini-Wheats sorry for any confusion!
Its the Mini-Wheats that are 3 for $7

  29. katie says:

the frosted mini wheats are 3/$7. Look for the one with movie codes on them too!

  30. michelle says:

I did 2 boxes of frosted mini wheats, 2 boxes cinnabon bars, 2 eggo fruit pizzas,
2 keebler cookies, 1 cinnabon pancakes, and 1 eggo waffles and I also used 2 fuel for school coupons oop was 5.91 and got the 7 from weis and 10 cat..

  31. melagoo says:

Worked for me I did it twice tonight. One time I got a $10 and $7 catalina the next time I only got a $10 and $3 but not sure why.

  32. Mary Jo says:

So, I’ve gone a little Kellogg’s crazy :-) I got a ton of stuff at Giant PA last week and then in the past 3 days I’ve been to Weis twice and got 32 boxes of cereal, 2 Yogos, 8 Eggos, 25 Pop Tarts, and a box of Nutrigrain bars. It was definitely a money maker and that doesn’t include all of the free movie tickets I’m going to get!!

I might even be crazy enough to make one more trip tomorrow or Saturday if I can get to another printer first!

Oh, and Anna, you’re right. My shelves have been packed full!

  33. Mary Jo says:

    Danielle -

The mini wheats are on sale 3/$7 and yes, the Catalinas are definitely rolling. I’ve done 6 transactions so far (2 in one trip, 4 in another).

  34. sharon says:

Just as a follow-up to the Weisyourbucks program I wrote about on August 8. Today, I went to Weis and my $2 catalina printed off. I was able to combine it with the $7 and $10 catalina. $19 in Free food!

  35. kimberly says:

I just wanted to say a big Thanks! for posting this deal..something I would have overlooked otherwise.I did 3 orders today and got the $17 in catalinas each time,so I basically have $60 worth of food for approx $12 oop!!!
I’m going back tomorrow to use the rest of my coupons.
Just an fyi-don’t use the self-scan checkout, the 2nd order was nothing but problems trying to redeem the high value catalinas, the register just wasn’t accepting it.Thankfully, the associate was very helpful and moved me to a regular checkout register. It went through just fine after a key-override,and it was smooth sailing from there.

  36. Megan says:

I went and did 3 transactions today, and ended up with $82 worth of food for less than $25. I did use up both catalinas ($10 and $7) I got from the first transaction and didn’t try to roll them. Instead I got some basic things we actually needed, including produce and ice cream (always a necessity in my house, especially since I’m 6 months pregnant!) My first transaction was $24.28 and I got $17 in catalinas. Next, I used the $7 catalina and paid 29 cents OOP on the next trancsaction. My favorite though was the last transaction–I used the $10 cat plus other coupons and paid 2 cents out of pocket for $27.90 worth of groceries. It wouldn’t have been quite so good, but I bought 3 bags of swedish fish (and used a $2 coupon) that were ringing up wrong so they gave me one for free. They were on a display that said they were $1 each but the rang up at $2. I think the sign might have been the mistake rather than the computer, but I got one free and 2 at $1 each, plus they still let me use the coupon so they were all free!
