Just did the deal this AM in Willow Street, PA. Bought 16 cans in one transaction and $8 came off. I stayed away from the low sodium cans just in case they still weren’t working. I got peas, cut green beans, french style green beans and whole kernel corn.

I got a mix of the 3 veggies and did two transactions, they worked great for FREE veggies! I threw in a folder that was clearanced to 14 cents to act as a filler just in case i were to get a hard time at the register
I almost had an issue too, but once I went over it with customer service they just reimbursed me the $4. And thanked me for letting them know that it didn’t work as it should have. Yay for helpful managers and cashiers!!
i had an issue today as well. peas, green beans and corn were marked $4 off wyb 8, but when i got to the front, the mgr told me they were only working on the corn and she said if i wanted the $4 off, i cld only get corn. i didnt feel like arguing, so i just got corn. weis seems to be a mess these days.
Emily, I would have to agree that Weis has been a mess lately with all their catalina deals.
i go the coupons, but had such a problem at weis!! the $4 didnt come off instantly. so what i told the cashier that, she pulled out the ad and read it. then she tried to tell me that the green giant veggies were not a part of the deal because they are not a general mills product.
so i calmly explained to her that the ad states they are a part of the deal. the shelves had the signs up also stating that they were part of the deal.
then she tells me that i MUST buy a box of cereal to make the deal work. so i calmly again tried to explain to here that no where in the ad did it state that i needed to buy cereal to make it work.
she got really mad at me and called over the manager. the manager said that i was correct and she did not know why the $4 did not come off instantly. so she over-ride for me. :) cashier was not happy, customer was very happy. alls well that ends well.
ugh you must buy a box of cereal. No way. Ok well I was going to go today, but I think I am going to hold off! Thanks for the heads up!
I was just there too. I bought 8 bags of Chex Mix and 8 cans of veggies. But the $4 off only came off the Chex Mix. I took it to customer service and she said it must be only one $4 off 8 per transaction. She was very nice and just gave me $4 back.
I think that the problem isn’t more than one deal per transaction, but instead that the low sodium and nibblets are not coded correctly and aren’t triggering the deal. I just had my cashier scan the regular the 8 times, explaining that the others were tagged for the deal, but not working and this way worked fine. I got multiple $3 IS per transaction.
Coupons are all gone. I tried early at 8:00am and it wasn’t working right. Checked again at 10am and they were out. :(

No coupons – still a great deal considering I usually pay 39 cents for store brand at Wegmans.
