   I did the deal on Sunday night and the cat didn’t print. I went back to the store today but was told the total had to be $20 after any manufacturer coupons to get the cat (my oop was around $9 after the coupons I used).
   Then I asked for a return and repurchase but was told I couldn’t get my coupons back because the coupons were already in their system.
   Should I just let it go like that?

   Has anyone else tried this deal yet? I have two Weis Markets only a few miles apart in my town. This type of deal always works at the one I usually go to. I had to go to the other one because my usual one did not have any Clorox wipes. This other Weis ALWAYS gives me issues with coupons. Every time. I do not know why I went tonight knowing it would be a problem. I bought 4 boxes of the Kleenex Hand Towels, two containers of wipes and a bottle of Lysol spray. The total was $34 before sales and coupons. The $10 did not print. I know for a fact it would have at the other Weis if they had the wipes in stock. Of course customer service was closed and the cashier did not know how to void the transaction. I have to go back tomorrow to get my coupons back and from now on I’ll stick with my usual Weis. Sorry, I had to vent…… I hope everyone else has better luck!

     Hey Jeff,

     I tried this deal last night. I purchased 3 Scott Extra Soft TP and 1 Kleenex Hand towel. Not only did it print out the $10 coupon for Weis, however it also printed a $3 coupon from Scott! I was super surprised and super excited! Hope that helps.

     Jeff, I also had a problem with this deal. I bought 2 Finish Powerball, 2 Lysol Wipes and 2 Scott wipes. My shelf prices were slightly higher than those listed and totaled over $30. The sales prices totaled $23.58 and I used $4.50 in coupons. Neither the $5 nor the $10 coupon printed. Not sure what happened as I was expecting at least a $5 coupon. Customer service did give me a $5.00 coupon to use on my next purchase.

   I am new at this and what confused me the most about couponing is when people are getting these coupons for free product and buy hundreds of them. How does that work? Can yi use the same coupons hundreds of times? Also I live in MS and am not familiar with any stores that double coupons or give you the overage towards your balance. Is this extreme couponing show legit? I just don’t see how that would work

     I wouldn’t watch that show at all. Period. It is not how it works. You can save tons of money, but that show is not reflective of reality.

     You have to think of the show as the Olympics of couponing, these people practice a lot and then they put all their effort into one big “haul” for the show. The reality is you can do the same thing on a MUCH smaller scale all the time. As for places that pay overages that is Walmart. Plus a lot of the rules have changed because of the show and extremests so now most coupons are limited to 4 per transaction. I agree with not watching the show until you learn how to coupon in the real world, which this blogs and many others will help.
