Holiday Tree Blondies Recipe
Whether you are looking to reduce calories in your favorite baking recipes or you’re a diabetic looking for new ways to indulge during the holidays, you can enjoy a sweet life without all the calories from added sugar with SPLENDA®. As a diabetic myself I am always looking for ways to indulge my sweet tooth without impacting my blood sugar. Did you know that SPLENDA® has a Brown Sugar Blend? It is perfect for swapping out some of the sugar in your favorite baked goods. SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend provides the browning, rising, texture, moistness and molasses-like flavor characteristic of baked goods made with regular brown sugar. All with just half the calories and carbohydrates of regular brown sugar.
- Just use 1/2 cup of SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend to replace 1 full cup of brown sugar.
- Available at Walmart in a 1 lb bag that provides the sweetness of 2 lbs of brown sugar.
I picked up a 1 lb bag at my local Walmart and used it to make this great Holiday Tree Blondies Recipe. These were so quick and simple to make and very yummy!
I am not a baker, and definitely not a cake decorator, so please be kind! I am very happy with how these turned out, decorations and all. They are really good too. They have all of the texture of a blondie made with all sugar. They are chewy and have a crunch from the walnuts. Yum!
