If you haven’t signed up to receive mobile coupons from Target, you can visit here to register your cell phone.
Get your monthly offers via text message with a link to a barcode that can be
scanned at checkout. The same barcode can be used for multiple one-time-
only coupon deals throughout the month.
How does it work?
When you go to the register, you will just hand the cashier the phone. You can only use the coupons once per cycle.

I’m a “newbie” at this couponing and have a question. If I have a store coupon and manufacturer’s coupon for the same product, can I use both at the same time?
Also, if a store has a sale on an item that requires you to purchase 4 and you have a manufacturer’s coupon for saving $1 on 2 – and you have two of the same coupon, can you use both for that initial purchase of 4?
Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
Shannon says
@Karen,
1. Yes you can use a store and manufacturer.
2. Yes you can use 2 $1.00/2 coupons on your purchase of 4.
Good Luck!

Try replying “offers” to the number that sent you the confirmation text. That is how I get my coupons on my phone. I’m not sure how it works with all phones. From there I click a link of the coupon I want and that is what the cashier scans. But yes you have to have internet access on your phone.

I received my first text message, but I didn’t realize I’d need internet access on my phone to get the coupon. Is that true? It said to go to target.com/save. Am I misunderstanding how this works?
Denise says
@Lisa,
it says right where you sign up:
” Mobile Coupons: Receive exclusive offers up to five (5) times per month via
text message on your web-enabled phone.”
A web-enabled phone would require internet access.
