I have a gas store. I purchased 5 Hershey king sized bars, clearly marked for the deal, and 5 bags of the hershey choco chips, which were also clearly marked. However, I only got 20 cents off a gallon. Before, in another gas store, I was able to do multiple deals in the same category for the gas deal in one transaction, and it added up correctly. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Have any suggestions on what I should do? Thank you!
Looks like something wasn’t tracking properly Suz, I have done multiples in the past and this week in the same transaction with no problems! Just go to CS they will add them for you.
Take your receipt to customer service – if there’s an issue at mine they can manually add the gas points onto your account. Good luck!

Can you only do this once? I mean, if I do separate transactions will I get gas points every time? I have $5 coupons from last weeks Hallmark deal sooooo….
Andrea.. good question. I don’t know the answer to this at a gas store.. At the instant savings, I have done them more than once.

Yes you can do as many as you want, I got up to $4.40 off a gallon yesterday with all of the candy deals. My youth group at church is going to be super excited when they see all of this candy :) Theater candy is $.99 and producing 20 cents off wyb 5 too, so another MM. Good N Plenty and Milk Duds were the only ones left at my store, but there may be others.

I think that Sunday morning is the only break my mind gets sometimes :) And only because I really try hard not to think coupons during the sermon, can you imagine someone watching me scribble down prices and math equations on my fill in the blank sheet? I had someone approach me that morning about how many candy bars I was “going to get” When I told them why I had to go at midnight they were all cracking up :)
Bonnie – If you accumulate more $off per gallon than the cost of gas, do you get to roll over your extra cents off? For example, if you have $4.40/gallon off and gas is $4/gallon, do you fill up and then have the remaining .40 to use toward your next fill up?
Also, if you’re the Bonnie who shops in Eldersburg, do they have any candy left?
Yes your balance rolls! I used $3.80 and still have $.60 to start with and I can add as many as I want until they expire.
I shop at the Eburg location occasionally, usually when I need all of my coupons to double, but haven’t been there for the candy, so I don’t know. My mom has been successful at getting hers without a problem so probably. My stores in Hanover have plenty, I have gotten 130 and they still have tons.
Well I can eat boxes upon boxes of Good N Plenty…husband thinks it’s disgusting but I look at it as more for me! Thanks Bonnie! Hopefully the people at my Giant haven’t caught on yet…It took a whole 2 weeks before the Hallmark cards were wiped and even at the end they weren’t completely gone. Looks like I’m the only nutjob that shops at my Giant.
Yes, you will get gas points every time. You can do as many transactions as you want with gas points.
I did the chocolate deal earlier today and my Kit Kat bars rang up fine at the gas store, I got the Lacrosse entry form (which was our main purpose for the deal) and we got the $0.20 off per gallon of gas!!! wish I’d known about the cooking cream cheese deal, I only bought one today to “save money” LOL

I did this deal today. If you buy $50 worth of chocolate, you can use the coupon on the front cover of the Giant flier which is “spend $50, get $5 off) making the chocolate deal even “sweeter”!
My store had the fliers with coupons right at the store.
