There was a Budweiser BBQ Sauce that according to catalina marketing, ended 7/6/11. However, it is still printing at Giant. Note: I have no idea when this will end, so proceed with caution. As of 8:00 am it is still printing.
In addition, Budweiser BBQ is on sale for $1.00. There is also a gas / or instant savings deal going. So what does that mean? Moneymaker Budweiser BBQ sauce.

Giant pulled this catalina, it is no longer printing. As an avid and seasoned couponer, I have some advice (probably unsolicted) for the new and seasoned couponers, please, please don’t go to customer service to complain about lack of stock, please don’t make a big deal about a great deal. Deals like this one don’t come around very often and when they do, the shelves will be wiped out. You just have to keep going and checking different stores. Going to customer service will alert store managers and employees of the moneymaker deal.
Managers and employees seldom know about the deals but if couponers constantly complain about lack of stock, they will notify corporate and the catalina will be pulled like they did to this one.
My giant ( shamokin dam, pa) was all out at noon today. They told me on the phone last night that the truck came and they would be restocked today. hmm. when I asked for a raincheck they told me there is a limit of 6. clever. Oh well. even with the gas rewards it is free never mind the catalina.
My Giant doesn’t have a sign about the catalina near the BBQ sauce, but does have one near their Wing Sauce….works for both, but it does say that it is running through 8/6

I got about 100.00 in gas points now from doing the Budweiser, Sprouts and ChiChis tortillas deal. I never liked the gas points deal but it has actually worked out well. I have two store near home, one that gives out the gas deals and another osne that takes the dollars off. The shelves are wiped out of the Sprouts and Budweiser, the deal is just too good to pass up.
I was at Giant yesterday, they were sold out :( Good deal If your store still has some otherwise they have the Giant Brand BBQ sauce for 10/10..
I went this mornign to three stores, nazareth, wind gap and easton. They were all out but got 2 rainchecks for 8 each and they put on the stop that I would recieve the gas points
Giant in Lebanon (east) & Cleona had none as of around 9pm. I didn’t even find a spot on the shelf for them.
Out of stock (I got the last 6) in the Quakertown Giants), Hatfield was out this afternoon. The CAT is still on as of 9:30 pm. 7/12
The deal in Winchester, VA was $1 for the BBQ with the gas price savings too. One of the associates told me that they were printing all day, but when I used the self check out it did not work. The service clerk over that area said that there was nothing she could do. Has anyone does this in Winchester, VA? Has it worked for you?
Hey! I am in Winchester and they have printed at all 4 Martin’s for me!! There was a lot of stock in some, and less in others. One store that was almost out said they assume they will get more in this week. BTW, I also used self checkout every time! Sorry it didn’t work. I have seen people call the catalina company and get it resolved when they didn’t print. Hope you can do the same!! :-)
Meilody: Thanks so much. I will try again this afternoon. I was at the 522 Sunnyside store. One of the sales clerks was not very nice about it and its hard because there’s nothing to “prove” with catalinas if it doesn’t work. I appreciate it though. I do self checkout also, so maybe I’ll just try another machine/line. Thanks for helping out a fellow couponer!!
I was at Sunnyside yesterday morning and it printed.Must have been that particular machine. They were not super nice to me either, acted like I was stealing because they realized I was making money!! Went to the Pleasant Valley Martin’s and they were out this morning, though I didn’t take the time to talk to the manager.
No problem! I am actually glad to know their are other couponers in Winchester. I know they are out there, but no one in my circle understands the couponing and I really enjoy it. I always want to talk about the money I make, but I usually just get eye rolls (until I hand them a bag full of goodies…) Nice to “meet” you!
Out of stock as of 6:30pm 6/12 at Red Lion Giant and York Giant (on Pauline Dr.) I checked the shelf, wall of savings, and meat department area. None at either location. Hopefully this is still working tomorrow and they get more in stock! =)

My store- Shamokin Dam, was wiped out today too. My favorite cashier told me that they should be getting more in on Thursday evening. Do you think that the cat will continue to run that long??
All 5 Giant’s in my area were wiped out. The lady at the Giant closest to me said they got a shipment in last night and it was gone by noon when I called. Had a really nice lady at the Giant that I actually went to help me out. Sometimes it pays not to call, but to go directly into the store.
Just cleaned house @ Whitehall Giant – went in and got 8 bottles of bbq – paid $8 (didn’t get the instant store savings but still a money maker!) and got 4 $2.50 cat’s ($10 total!). Went back in and bought B1G1 Perdue boneless skinless chicken breasts (free with the $10 in cat’s!). Then went a little crazy and decided to buy the rest of the bbq sauces – 6 more for $6.50 and got $7.50 in cat’s for next time! Great grocery day for me. Also soo advantage of free Frank’s red hot and fiber bars were 2/5 with 50 cent coupon doubling to $1. Don’t forget to use the free gallon of milk cat. from buying cereal last week if you got it!
You got quite a lot. Bummer for others that didn’t get to take advantage of this deal in Whitehall.
I agree. it’s not right to clear sheleves…unless there’s only a few when you get to it.

Giant New Cumberland’s Cat machines weren’t working last night. I found this out after I bought 14. This morning I returned them to get my money back. I returned around lunchtime to see that my 14 were on the shelves, I repurchased them and the cats were still printing!
(retained my gas points from the initial purchase tho…..but not my fault)

This deal was still working as of 8am today. I rolled my Catalina’s from last night’s purchase, bought 8 more bottles and recieved 4 more $2.50 Cats and another 20 cents off gas!

I did this deal 3 times today (last was around 9:00 pm)…purchased 8 each time, and received 4 – $2.50 catalinas each time. Woo Hoo! It was my first time rolling catalinas and I was nervous :) but it worked great. I also have a bag ready to donate to the food bank! THANK YOU FTM!
My store has set a limit of 7 BBQ sauce per customer : ( They also would only let me use 1 catalina on my next order even though the coupon does not say one per order. Oh well – still a great deal and it helped me get to my free tank of gas!

Dropping off three bags of BBQ sauce at the foodbank tomorrow, and got lots of baby food for my niece’s 2 month old son.
My daughter used $1.10 off on gas from doing the BBQ and baby food deal this morning, and then I did this deal at 3:30 and racked up $1.20 off! Still sauce on shelves in Cleona.

Did not read the posts so I may be duplicating info. The big Camp Hill store had lots of the BBQ sauce in the wall of value aisle. I did the deal 2x (Please do not be greedy leave some for the next guy.) New Cumberland had a few but not a lot. I was able to use 3 Catalinas in the same order and I used them to buy the second set. Woo hoo! Love this deal. All total I got 1200 points today!

Yea! Went to see Cars 2 and only paid $2.50 for myself and 2 kids and a medium popcorn (thank you Kellog’s)! And then stopped at Giant for this awesome BBQ deal! I got 8. I did 2 at the self checkout to make sure it worked and then did 3 at a time and paid the .50 difference. Awesome! Thank you!! And now that I know you can do them all in one transaction I may be back for more when I drop off my daughter at soccer camp! I can’t resist!
This is a great tip. Had to run out with sleeping children to get it. Still working as of 2:30pm. If you can’t find them on the shelf, look for a display in the meat dept or on the wall of savings near the produce sections.

Confirming that it still worked at 1:45 today. I did 3 transactions of 8, and rolled the catalinas. I can’t believe it gave more than $.20 per gallon, but it did. My co-workers LOVE my donations. Any extra, I’m taking to the shelter. :)
I just got back from Martin’s in Richmond, VA and I was able to get 8 BBQ Sauce the gas points and four $2.50 Catalinas! Thanks so much for the tip. That is my husband’s favorite sauce.
I went back again tonight and was able to purchase 14 bottles per transaction – that gave me $0.40/gallon and $17.50 in Catalinas. I then did a separate transaction and bought 20 packages of the Sprout Organic Baby Food. The stores I hit had the Buy 3 Get 1 Free blinkies. I used some of my $2.50 Catalinas from the Budweiser deal and was able to get the 20 packages for $0.85 (plus tax). What an awesome deal -thanks again for the tip!

Went back to get more but its all gone- do you think that Giant will get stock again before the sale is over? Also I noticed that the Budweiser hot sauce (which is not included in 10/10 sale) had tags that said catalina runs until August 6th – maybe its the same for the bbq sauce?

Does Giant allow you to use more than (1) catalina to pay for a purchase, in other words, could I use (2) $2,50 catalinas to pay for an order?

Sweet deal! I did in transactions of 14 and took the bottles to Project Share. I think my DH wouldn’t like the idea of having “budweiser” bbq sauce around – considering we don’t drink. But, I couldn’t pass up the deal.
Just got back was still working at my store. I did 2 first To make sure the cata still printed. I then went back to get the 8. Luckily I did not wipe them out (3). I actually shared the $2.50 cata deal with another shopper. Didn’t share the full 8 thing since there was not enough to worry about pointing that point out.
Forgot something. As for rolling I think so cause I used the first 42.50 towards the 8 plus the sprouts I grabbed. Since the sprouts works out to free & guess it would of came off the sauce.

Yes, the isle was wiped out at my store too, but there was a huge display with bazzilion of them at the “wall of savings” (usually in your produce section)
1) YES, and you can use multiple also.
2) YES, I did 14 in one transaction to get 2 gas deals.
3) And yes I skipped lunch to do this.

I just went to try this out and it was still working (at 10:30 am). Stock was already getting low, so it might be hard to find enough to do the gas deal. I lucked out and my store had enough though :)
