Just a quick update on the Hershey Park Tickets at Giant this year. The promo is:
Buy $50.00 worth of Kraft Items and get $15.00 off a Hershey Park Ticket. The $50.00 is calculated after coupons.
I don’t think we will be going to Hershey Park this year.
Kara says
How pathetic :( HERSHEYPARK UNHAPPY……………. HERSHEYPARK SAD…………. NOT ANYTHING TO DO THIS YEAR…………….. IT MAKES ME REAL MAD) I guess it is not a hershey chocolate world afterall.

THIS YEARS PROMOTION IS A REAL JOKE. I MEAN COM’ ON MAN, SPEND $50.00 ON OVERPRICED KRAFT FOOD PRODUCTS AND FULL PRICE FOR PEPSI PRODUCTS TO SAVE $15.00 PER TICKET ???? WHEN YOU CAN AUTOMATICALLY SAVE $11.00 PER TICKET IF YOU PURCHASE THEM AT THE CUSTOMER’S SERVICE DESK AND FOR EVERY 2 TICKETS PURCHASED YOU GET A FREE PARKING PASS AS WELL ($10.00 VALUE). LET ME DO THE MATH FOR YOU PEOPLE. TOTAL SAVINGS IF YOU LIKE TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR YOUR GROCERIES FOR 2 TICKETS YOUR TOTAL SAVINGS WOULD BE $30.00 PLUS YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY $10.00 FOR PARKING WHEN YOU GET THERE, TOTAL SAVINGS $20.00 (WOW) OR YOU CAN DO IT THE MOST COST EFFICIENT WAY AND FORGET ABOUT BUYING ANYTHING NOW (WAIT TIL THE ITEMS GO ON SALE) JUST GO TO CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK BUY YOUR 2 TICKETS SAVE $22.00 PLUS GET YOUR FREE PARKING TICKET ($10.00 VALUE). WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $32.00 SAVINGS THAT IS $12.00 MORS SAVINGS THAN THE BULL CRAP PROMOTION THEY ARE TRYING TO RUN. OH I DID FORGET ABOUT THE CHANCE OF WINNING 4 FREE TICKETS (LOL) . JUST A LITTLE REMINDER TO THE HERSHEYPARK CEO IF THE PROMOTION WAS AS GOOD AS OTHER YEARS IT WOULD BE MORE PROFITABLE TO THE PARK MORE PEOPLE MEANS MORE DRINKS, FOOD, SOUVENIRS, WHICH MEANS MORE MONEY. THE RIDES STILL RUN REGARDLESS IF THERE ARE SAY AN EXTRA 5000 PEOPLE THERE A DAY OR NOT. IF ADMISSION WAS FREE YOU WOULD STILL BE MAKING MONEY HABD OVER FISH. POOR MILTON HERSHEY IS TURNING IN HIS GRAVE. KNOWING THE PRICE YOU ARE CHARGING FOR ADMISSION. CONSIDERING HE WAS A VERY UNSELFISH MAN. AND WAS NOT ALL ABOUT MONEY. I MEAN WITH UNEMPLOYMENT BEING AROUND 10% IN PA. ALONE HE WOULD OF PROBABLY HAD FREE ADMISSION FOR A FEW DAYS OUT OF THE WEEK FOR A FEW MONTHS. BUT I KEEP FORGETTING THE WAY IT IS NOW THE RICH GET RICHER THE POOR GET POORER. THINK OF THE KIDS (OUR FUTURE) MAKE IT MORE AFFORDABLE FOR THEM TO ENJOY A DAY AT THE PARK JUST AS WE DID GROWING UP.
JULIE says
You tell it like it is Greg no Hershey for us either. Knoebels for us as well maybe Dorney too
heather says
Hi–I live out of state and am coming to Hershey Park at the end of July (my first time there in two decades). Can anyone tell me where I can get the $13 coupons?
GREG says
BUY TICKETS RIGHT AT GIANT YOU SAVE 11.00 PER TICKET AND WITH PURCHASE OF 2 YOU GET FREE PARKING AT THE PARK
Lori Harold says
If you live in MD (or near), what about Del Grossos or Lakemont in Altoona, PA? That’s where we’ve gone the last few years. Actually, we liked Lakemont better and that’s where we’re going again this year. $10 per ticket (or only $5 on Wednesdays) – free parking. Little to no wait to get on rides. Del Grossos is a little more – $15 per ticket, but we didn’t like it as well. We have a family of 8, so no way can we afford the big, fancy parks.
Lori Harold says
Actually, just looked it up and now they offer the $5 admissions for Wed, Thurs and Fri! Yay! It even has an awesome water park – plenty of rides to choose from – and good food, too.
Chris C says
Okay.. so I spoke to Giant consumer relations today. Apparently, the deal is this.. spend $50, get a $15 coupon to use in Giant to buy your ticket. Maybe I’m the only one that didn’t get that part, but hey.. I can be slow sometimes. So, for next week only… buy $50 in Kraft, you get ONE coupon for ONE ticket at $15 less than the Giant price for the Hershey Park ticket. Hope this helps… I’m still not happy, though.

Check out http://www.ebay.com/sch/creative.cause/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
Had my discount info within 12 hours and just bought my five tickets. I figured it was o ly $2 if it didn’t work, but it was all good. I have. O connection to this auction other than being a happy customer.
tawanda says
so u only paid 29.00 a ticket, if so let me know. I seen the ad on ebay and i just google the information. we r going in august and its eight of us, so any saving will help.
Allison says
Yes ;). Only extra charge was 75 cents per ticket handling fee. I figured for $2 it was worth a shot because you only need one code for all your tickets. We bought them and went to the park on Monday. The tickets were even good for the preview the night before
Kara says
We will be heading to six flags this year… two adult tickets and parking for $75 through discover card website…I will def miss the hershey deal tho!
Karen frazier says
I think Maryland has no deal at all….
Alissia M says
You could check Craigslist too. I see a lot of people selling them for $30 and even some for 2/$40. I am thinking of doing this, of course you have to make sure they are legit and pick up in person, but never go alone. And never send money through the mail.
I did not participate in this deal before, I always missed it, but I was super hoping for it this yr. Looks like we will be missing out again. :(
Ruth says
I think we all knew that this was coming because of the number of people using coupons now. It is still a decent deal if the right product are included in the deal. Saving 15.00 is better than nothing. Last year, I got about 6 tickets, my kids enjoyed the trips the Hershey.
Lisa S. says
Do you know who we can voice our complaints to regarding this deal ?
Chris C says
I agree that this is pretty pathetic. Considering the other options out there, it’s almost like “hey, buy $50 of our stuff and we’ll give you…. nothing you couldn’t get from Giant directly, sucker!” My opinion of Kraft has definitely taken a hit. If they couldn’t run the deal this year, fine, just tell me that. This, on the other hand, is offensive.
cg says
I, too, was hoping for the deal. Last year, our family of three went for free (and had a 6 month supply of diet soda and capri sun since they were on the giant list). I will be skipping Hershey this year. Price is just too high.
peach says
Wow! Why even BOTHER to have a Hershey Park promotion this year?? Last year’s promotion was really good with my coupons. I”ve been waiting for this years promo to come out…how disappointing! We’re heading to Knoebels where we can control the costs!
skamom says
So disappointed! Was looking forward to free tickets again this year! Oh well I guess we will try some place else this year!
Adriane says
wawa also have coupons…The kids school paid for us to go so we went already…I love that park…..It’s a great place to enjoy as a family….
jamee says
ahhhh nuts!! good thing i live right next to Dorney, no Hershey this year for us either :(
Jen says
For people in the middle I’d pick Kennywood. There’s a bogo coupon (I have it, it’s a pdf) for certain days or you can get discount tix at Giant Eagle. I <3 Kennywood so much I get depressed if I miss a year,
Ryan Fetzer says
That sucks i have been waiting all year for this…Last year I bought 75.00 worth of Kraft and double dipped it with the gas deal. What is this world coming to I just want to cry my eyes out.
Jeremy says
wow 57 bucks per person and have to pay to park as well.
Bonnie says
I think we will check out Knoebel’s this year instead(20% off ticket books at Weis). Plus I hear they have better food.
Valerie says
Knoebels is awesome! The food IS amazing, no charge for parking and those who don’t ride don’t have to pay. I almost hate to tell anyone about how good it is because it’s crowded already, but well worth the price!
Carol says
We love Knoebel’s too. we went last week but I’m thinking we’ll just go there another time or 2 and skip Hershey this year. And at Knoebel’s you can take your own food in too so you don’t even have to buy food. WAY nicer! but yes it gets crowded. it was great last week when we were there!
Sue W says
Yea, I think we’ll be skipping Hershey Park as well this year. This is no bargain, very disappointed.
Anonymous says

jamee says

dmayes says
wonderful, the free parking voucher expired 6/30.
check out the ebay thing. $29 tickets is good deal.
Jacki says
I always find this very stressful and I buy things I don’t want. Looking for other deals in stead
julie says
what a bummer!! we were really looking forward to getting free tickets again this year. :(
Amy says
you would think they would be able to come up with something better then that! Its $57 for one adult admission, that is crazy! I think some people have lost their mind! lol
Robin says
We bought 7 day hopper passes to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA in Williamsburg, Va last year for $70 something per person!!! Hershey Park is crazy for charging that much.
I was thinking about going if we could get them for free with this deal. NO WAY!! Totally not worth paying to stand in line with crowds in the summer heat.
Jeremy says
booooooo
Pam says
i got 5 tickets for hershey park on ebay for $35 each. go on there & bid, you can get great deals…
Tara says
Thanks for the idea Pam. Going to look there now since Giant blew it this year.
Lauren says
Just another idea. If you are a AAA member their tickets are slightly less than $40. Best deal I know other than Ebay.
Megan says
As of this morning when I called AAA they said adult tickets are $45, children 3-8 are $33.50. I guess their rates have gone up too. : (
