Do they allow you to fill up cans at their gas station? just wondering cause I was pretty sure when i went to their gas station it said something about not being allowed to do that?

  2. Stacie says:

I am wondering if someone can explain What it means when it says,”Earn 5x gas extra rewards on certain items. These are on items that are not included in the gas deals, so how do you even get gas points unless your total adds up to $100.00. See, I told you I am confused. I asked a store manager and she did not know either.

    • Amy says:

You basically earn 1 point per dollar spent on anything you purchase, so these items that are 5x, you would basically earn 5 points per dollar spent on these select/marked items.

  3. maureen says:

There are some Ziploc coupons on Recyclebank if you haven’t already printed them this month. $1.50 off 3 bags and a free Ziploc container when you purchase 3 bags.

  4. Stacie says:

I did the gas deal yesterday at Giant. The deal was purchase 7 yogurts, get .$20 off per gallon. I bought 21 yogurts and got $.60 off per gallon.

  5. Toya says:

The math on this is a little misleading. It assumes the max of 30 gallons. If you have a smaller tank, it would be the .20/ gallon times however many gallons. My car is a bit over 10 gallons, so this wouldn’t be free for me, as I’d only be getting about $2 in gas points, not six. Still a decent deal, all the same but just wanted it to be clearer.

I would definitely suggest investing money into getting gas cans. If you have a Lowe’s nearby you could even use their coupon to help offset the cost of that purchase. IMO it is worth it, especially if you end up with a significant amount off of a gallon.

  6. Mandy says:

I am completely new to shopping at Giant and on a mission to figure out how the gas points work. If you purchase 8 items, do you get .40 cents off per gallon; purchase 12 items and get .60 cents off per gallon or is there limitations???

    • Toya says:

It can work the way you said but I don’t know if you do it all at once, if it will track it that way. I do mine is separate transactions to make sure it works that way.

    • For the Mommas says:

Hi Mandy! It’s Amy from FTM. I have heard of people doing it all in the same transaction and other splitting them up to make sure you get credited the gas points each time. I personally do each set in separate transactions, just so I know for sure what I am getting and how many gas points I know I will have in the end. It states in the ad the limitation is 10 offers per household. Hope that helps :)

    • Chris says:

Hi!! I do my gas deals together all the time, and only occasionally have a problem, which they are quick to fix. I know ahead of time how many deals I am doing, and how much to expect, so that I know it all checks out. I have done up to 8 deals at once. The cashiers even get excited ;) Our family saved $4000 in free gas last year. We bought gas cans to be sure we get all 30 gallons each time….

  7. kadywood says:

Loving the gas deals again! So excited for this coming week.

  8. Sonja says:

Is it suppod to be buy 5 or buy 4 to get the gas incentive? All the scenarios are for buy 4, but the title at the top of the scenarios say buy 5.
