The $1.50 off produce was on the Grandes chip bag. I bought 12 bags which enabled me to use 6 coupons. I measured out 3 bags of bananas worth $1.50 each making them free. Then I bought a 1/$2.50 strawberry making it $1. Then the potatoes were free with the $1.50 going toward the Hellman’s mayo.
The $1 off coupons for the Grandes are in:
04-18-10 SS and 01-10-10 SS
I did make some typos on my scenarios.
Gr. beef was not less than $1 per “gallon” but pound.
Plus, I said 2/$2 off your order. That’s immediately off the Gr. Beef.
I am going to go back and do the El Paso/Gr. beef/Kraft scenario again. Good way to earn LOTS of gas points and stock up on inexpensive gr. beef.

I’m not sure exactly – they were from coupon inserts within the last month – I cut them out – it might be regional though – I’m in York PA but I get papers from Baltimore MD from a friend.

Way to go Sharon! Question for you… When you buy the two Grande chips to get $1.50 off produce, is this a catalina that prints or does it automatically come off your order? Where were the $1/1 coupons?

Also, the Lay’s $1/1 coupon mentioned earlier is found in SS 3/14. HTH

I got a catalina when I bought the Perdue for $1 off, it printed when I first scanned my card, so I got a pack of chicken nuggets for 75 cents!

Giant Deal Scenario
I tried out a few Giant Catalina today. I did have a little stresser. I had forgotten my wallet at home and didn’t realize it until I was at the check out. Thank goodness for Mom who just happened to be with me.
Here they are:
Trans. 1
6 Old El Paso Seasonings 6/$4
Get back a $3 catalina off next beef/chicken purchase

Trans. 2
buy 3 of the $2.49 Giant Ground beef(for the $.40 off gas deal)
buy 6 of the Kraft Mac Deluxe dinners(3/$5)
get 2/$2 off your purchase for purchasing 6 Kraft
Use your $3 cat. off beef
get back a $4 cat oyno from buying 6 Kraft Mac. dinners
Plus, get $.40 off per gallon which equals $10.80 for my 27 gallon tank
Thus making the meat less than $1 per gallon
TIP: make sure the meat packages are right at 4 pounds which is the lowest amount needed. This gives you the most for your money.

There were also coupons on the Grandes Chips. Buy 2 Grandes get $1.50 off produce.
I used $1/1 Grandes Chips.
I used them to buy various produce items but one deal was:
Buy 2 Hellman’s Mayo(2/$5) get a 5 pound bag of potatoes free. Use the $1.50 from the chips and pay $3.50 for 2 Mayos and 5 pounds of potatoes.
I ended up purchasing 12 bags of chips, using 12/$1 and using 6/$1.50 off produce.
Then I used the $4 catalina from the Kraft Mac.

I also got the 35 sq ft rolls for 1.34 & used the 1.25/1 printables PLUS I found the new Grill foil with a mail in rebate form when you buy the grill foil & 2 additional foils. So I bought the grill foil and 2 35 sq ft recycled foil which was a under cents each and submitted for the rebate to get the grill foil FREE! Look for this deal at your Giant!

At my Giant – the 35 sq ft rolls of the Reynold’s Aluminum Foil are on clearance for $1.35. Pretty sweet after the coupons! I got 3 rolls!

I did the gm catalina at weis yesterday. I bought 6 packets of taco seasoning and i got the $3 old el paso catalina along with the $10 gm catalina. I also bought yoplait yogurt as part of my $35 and got $2 OYNO from yoplait as well.

Meliissa~ Yes, the Old El Paso catalina is good at Weis too!! I did it yesterday. Using the shelf price, coupons and the catalinas I got 15 items for less than $2 because I received the $10 catalina and $3 off your next chicken or beef purchase catalina!!!

If you like chips (like my husband who is addicted), they have the Lays ones on sale 3/$6 (must buy 3) but there are $1/1 coupons for the new flavors and those were included in the sale so if you use 3 of them you can get the chips for $1/bag. My husband said the new BBQ ones are pretty good!
Also, for the PopTarts if you are doing the Sprinklings with the reward codes you can look for packages that have those on them and 5 codes gets you a free movie ticket (about to get mine now!).

Have you used the V-8 Fusion coups for V-8 Splash before? I know those are two different types of V-8 and usually are different prices, so I didn’t think you could use that coup interchangeably.
