I’m not usually a fan of pork, but when I saw the price of the pork butt roast this week, I searched around and found this great recipe:
http://recipes.epicurean.com/recipe/13657/crock-pot-carnitas.html
I haven’t tried it yet, and they were out of it when I was there last night, but a single jalapeno works out to be about $0.12 and fresh ORGANIC cilantro was $0.99 for a bunch. This would make for a great, inexpensive meal!
Don’t forget that McCormicks brown gravy is FREE when you buy 6 this week. (they are .50 each and on sale for the “buy 6, save $3 promo).
Use this link to print a $1/1 Nestle Toll House morsels coupon, making them only $0.69!

I shop at Martin’s and my ad has Fiber One Toaster Pastries included in the GM deal! Even better, they are marked BOGO on the shelf, so you only have to pay for two, and can use $.50 coupons which will double!
