Mine is in the Stop and Shop circular. I live in New York. I so miss the other gas deals. I asked at the desk and they said there isn’t competition for gas points so that’s why they are doing the 2X points. And yes, Melody, my ad has the Gatorade Energy Chews for 10/$10!. Are there any Q’s????

I get the ad for the Stowe and Pottstown (which includes Gilbertsville) PA and I got the deal!

Sorry, I’m so used to it automatically putting my info in. I’m not sure why it isn’t any more :-( This was me!! ;-)

        Hey Lauren,

I changed my commenting to allow people to comment anonymously – and not feel obligated to give their name – so it might have reset. I like names though :)

Hope there are some good items included! Our family budget sooo misses the gas rewards! LOL

    Good luck all.

  6. Melody says:

Does your ad have the $1 Gatorade chews?

  7. Lisa says:

I live in Maryland. Our Giant ad comes out Wednesday and runs Friday – Thursday. We do have the deal. But I’m not all that excited about the items included.

Totally agree! Pepsi and Fritos? However, the circular we get in the mail on Fridays has had the buy for 50 get 300 gas points twice in the past few weeks, you have to bring in the paper coupon.

I miss the gas deals. I’ve only been there a few times since they discontinued them. Here’s to hoping they are considering bringing them back.

    • Beth says:

Agreed! Hardly shop there anymore. Starting to LOVE Aldis.
      :-)

        Beth,

Talk to me about Aldis. Is there anything FTM can do to help with Aldi’s shopping since there are no coupons?

        • Jaime says:

Shannon – Aldi does have a circular each week, and they advertise produce picks of the week. I love to get pineapples there (often for 1.29), strawberries (.99-1.29), baby carrots (I’ve seen as low as .49), grapes (usually 1.98 for 2lb container), bananas (.39 per lb), blueberries, cantaloupes, mushrooms, broccoli and more. These are items that I have trouble finding good prices on (esp out of season) and there are rarely any coupons for them.

        • Beth says:

          Hi Shannon!
Thanks for asking what FTM can do to help with Aldi Shopping.
I’ve only been there a handful of times, but my take-away from Aldi’s is that if I haven’t had the time to devote to couponing & deal finding that particular week, then I know that I can go to Aldi’s & get a decent price for what I really need that week & that the quality is good. Most items are “Aldi-type brands”, but occasionally there are name brands There is a website to see their weekly specials http://aldi.us/index_ENU_HTML.htm.
I think that their fresh meat is high, but everything else is very moderate to inexpensive.
All that said, the only thing I can think of that FTM can do to help wit Aldi shopping is to list their note worthy specials (For example, to piggyback on what Jaime wrote, this week Pineapples are $.99. Wow! I was there & saw them. They are on the small size, but still that is a great price for fresh pineapple! Another item this week was Eggs $.78 a dozen! )

Thanks Shannon for all that you do!

      • Jaime says:

When I lived in PA, I was an almost-exclusive Aldi shopper. After we moved to NY, the closest one is 30 minutes away, so I turned to couponing to make ends meet. To my surprise, I can get almost everything at the Aldi price or even cheaper by couponing at my local stores. (Of course, it takes a lot longer to plan shopping trips and I need to shop multiple stores for the best deals.) I’ve also noticed that Aldi’s prices seem to be increasing faster than the regular stores.

That said, I still do like shopping there. Their products are high-quality, their prices are consistent from week to week, and I am a sucker for their “special purchase” items (bought lobster tails last week and I buy hanging flower pots there every spring).

    • For the Mommas says:

      I am hoping so too!

  9. Kelly says:

I just got the Giant ad for next week. Here in Pottstown, they are not offering this deal. Sigh. I definitely spent more there when they offered the 300 extra points coupon.

  10. Maria says:

Oh I don’t like where it says “this week only” lol
