Sorry for the stupid question but I just want to clarify…so, i can’t buy 8 at one time and get a $6 catalina. However, could I buy 4, get the $3 catalina and then do another transaction and use the $3 catalina I just earned to pay and have it print out another $3 catalina?

Holly- the soup deal is only certain flavors. At least that is what my Giant told me but they still gave me the points at customer service.
Yes, it works at Acme too! I bought 2 yesterday and got a $1 cat, I didn’t even realize where it came from till I saw this post and checked my cat. It says buy 2 get $1, buy 3 get $2, buy 4 get $3!! Awesome deal, my family loves these fries, we usually sprinkle some old bay on them!!

Just did it and it worked
I was able to use the coupon with no problems. I dont remember mine saying it had a weight limit, just said any 3 fries.
there is a size on the coupon — 19 oz or larger.
At Giant and a lot of other stores, sometimes coupons will scan for the incorrect sizes, it is a glitch. It is the wrong size therefore the coupon shouldn’t be used for it.
From the picture, it looks like the ones on sale are 4.75 oz. The SS coupon specifies 19 oz. or larger.
Does anyone know what the larger size costs?
You cannot use the coupon with this deal.
There is a 1.50 coupon in the Smart source when you buy 3.
An even better deal, a money maker I think.
Can you clarify something for me? When you say you cannot stack the deal, do you mean I cannot do several different transactions and roll the catalina into the next order and get another catalina?

And this is why I wait to do my shopping until the mid-end of week anymore. But who can pass up a day to shop without towing a 2 year old AND a 5 month old along? Guess I’ll be returning to Giant at the end of the week. Thanks Shannon!
Andrea, yep. I dont shop early anymore. I wait til mid week, when they have restocked and all the deals are figured out.
As much as I would like to post scenarios for stores on Saturday so people could shop on Sunday, its just too much to try to have all the store matchups and scenarios done – plus the confirming of unadvertised deals. So usually I wait til later – usually Thursday to shop.
