    • Shannon

wow! Great to hear that your ordered in advance too :)

  • Stephanie

The Giant in Carlisle has Wisk on sale for $3.99. I was hoping for 2.99. Anyone know of any stores close to Carlisle that have the $2.99 sale? Thanks!

    • Stephanie

On the Giant website you can use the store locator to search for stores in your area and then view their weekly circular. I’m not finding any stores around Carlisle that have the Wisk for $2.99. Elizabethtown is the only store I’ve been able to find. It truly is a unique store carrying Wisk for the extra discounted price.

      • Shannon

        Stephanie,

actually no, stores in the pHiladelphia area are carrying it at $2.99 as well. A few other readers have confirmed it.

Looks like Giant has it on sale for 3.99, the coupon brings it to 1.99. Am I missing something?

    • Shannon

      Megan,

Not sure what you are asking?

We have it in the Lehigh Valley (specifically Nazareth) but I dare say that I have “enough” Wisk right now. Our Weis has been having grand opening sales for the last 2 months and it was going on sale for $2.88 or $2.99. With the $2 coupons I was picking up bottles for $.88 or $.99 a pop =) I think I have 7 or 8 bottles… Wait…I have a family of 6. Maybe I should rethink how much detergent is “enough” lol

    • Shannon

Andrea, honestly 7-8 bottles isnt alot. I use about 3 a month.

      • Andrea

Well my 2 oldest are responsible for doing their own laundry which means they’re lazy and don’t do it until they’re at the very end of their clothing. So my laundry detergent goes in spurts. Plus I use way less than the recommended amount. It works just as well and saves on detergent. I learned that when I started cloth diapering.

I’m loving the Grand Opening sales at the Weis (off 191 specifically). Although I find Giant is still cheaper for most items. This week they have Coke products (12 packs) for 5 for $10.

      • Lindsay-PA

Oops, I meant off Uhler Road, not 191. :)

        • Shannon

Sweet. They are cycling thru remodeling. I actually like the new built Weis better than the Giant layout.

          • Andrea

Shannon I find that Weis kind of creeps me out…just like Rite Aid does for me. I don’t know why though lol Maybe I’m just strange. That’s probably it.

            • Shannon

LOLL Creeps you out? He he Andrea you are funny!

      • Andrea

Lindsay that’s where I’m shopping at =) I love the sales they’ve been having too. I only go there for the good stuff on the front page like the chicken breast a few weeks ago and the pork tenderloin, and the laundry detergent. Got a watermelon for $1.99 that first week and it was terrible. I have to agree that I love Giant and find it’s pretty much cheaper for everything else.

Lancaster New Era has it too :)

  • Amber

My Detroit Free Press (Ann Arbor) had it but I don’t have a Giant. Any ideas on where to use it???

    • Shannon

Amber, I heard that Family Dollar or Dollar general may have it cheap.

    • Megan

      Amber,
