CVS: Possible Triaminic Moneymaker

Reader Christine emailed to share a Triaminic moneymaker she found at CVS. She found the Triaminic Fever Reducer on sale 2 for $11.00 and did this deal.

Buy 2 Triaminic Fever Reducers – $5.50 each
Use $3/1 Triaminic Fever Reducer Pain Reliever Product, exp. 2/15/12 (SS 12/04/11)
and Use $4/1 Fever Reducer coupon from the red CVS coupon machine
Get $3 ECBs (limit 1)
Free + $2 moneymaker

The same deal applies to Theraflu, and Christine said that she got a $3.00 off Theraflu coupon from the magic coupon machine too.

If you’re heading out to CVS, don’t forget about the U by Kotex freebie that’s available this week. See all of this week’s CVS deals here.

Thanks, Christine

I did not get that one. But last week I got one for $3 off Listerine & Reach products which made the Reach deal that much nicer.

This was me and the fever reducer had the same sale prices at my store in Pittsburgh and rang up appropriately at 2/$11.

Great find!! I’m headed over to my CVS soon to see if I get that coupon from the magic machine!!

The Multi Symptom Fever which is different from the Fever Reducer is on sale. I live in PA and the price was 7.49. I tried to do this deal in the beginning of the week before it was posted and it doesn’t work for the Fever Reducer, the 4.00 CVS coupon can be used for the Multi Symptom fever and the 3.00 Manufacturer coupon can be used on the Multi Symptom Fever without beeping because the CVS system is not sophisticated enough yet to detect that it is for a different item.
This deal was copied from here and posted on Living Rich with Coupons. This deal won’t work for CVS’s in this area. It is not your fault that the prices are different, I just wanted to caution other couponers that coupons may scan on the Multi Symptom fever but they really shouldn’t do it.

The Fever Reducer is not on sale, it is 7.49 at my CVS. The Multi Symptom Fever is on sale therefore both coupons can’t be used for it. I got the coupon also from the coupon center at CVS but I couldn’t use it. CVS is cracking down on making sure that the right coupon is used for any purchased product.
