Just wanted to quick post and let you know I will be back tomorrow. I had an amazing day in New York City. We saw Wicked – BEST SHOW EVER! I waited til last minute late last night to see if could get a deal on the tickets.
I paid 70% less than I would have if I bought them in advance! Talk about a deal!
So sorry for the lack of deals today, but I enjoyed my day!

Hi Shannon – I am glad you got to attend the Bloggers Brunch. I was talking to Zippy, my good blogging buddy, and she was certainly glad to meet you. I wish I could have attended. I’m glad I found your site too
Wendy
Wendy,
I am already a big fan of your site! I absolutely ADORE Zippy. She is the best!
Zippy is great! Wish I could have met you Wendy! Maybe, another time!
So glad to meet you again!!!!
Did you go to the ticket booth and wait in that line to get the cheap tickets? I saw people doing it while there last time and wondered if it you could get a good show like Wicked!
Briana,
So great to see you again. I will be doing my post tomorrow and you in the beauty chair will definitely be part of it!
Heres the crazy story, I ended up trying to find them on playbill.com. Two weeks before they were $275 a ticket.. For the heck of it, I logged on to see what was still available. I got them for $100 a ticket and put them to will call! I was going to stand out at the Booth but I didn’t need to . I was so excited.. we were 9 rows from the stage!!
I wish I could see the show! Was it as good as the book? Tell us more about it.
I so jealous… NYC is my favorite place in the whole wide world… literally.. I lived in Manhattan for awhile in Washington Heights… god do I miss it… but alas I came back to Detroit for my husband and now live about 45 min. from the big city. That part is for the kids… I love Detroit don’t get me wrong… but I wont raise my kids in the city. Anyhow… I miss NYC so much, I could really use a trip back to the big apple… My teenager has been listening to some Jay-Z song called Empire state of mind and it makes me even more homesick.
