I don’t need to tell you about the devastation in Haiti.
I don’t need to tell you we all need to come together and do what we can to help.
I do want to tell you how you can help. For each person who leaves a comment today 01/15, my husband and I will donate $.25 to the American Red Cross.
My heart goes out to the families who have suffered great losses and to those who are still waiting to find out where their mother, father, children, brothers, sisters or friends are. I cannot imagine their agony. I pray that they will be able to come through this catastrophe stronger and more faithful.

Baptist Haiti Mission is an established ministry in Haiti which has a hospital and schools. Samaritan’s Purse – another well-known Christian ministry has teamed with BHM to help in this time. You can see up to the minute updates and/or donate through the web address above. Just an FYI.

My sons is in GSRP (headstart) one of the little girls is from Haiti and came here with only her father. There hope was to bring her grandparents and aunt here later. Her dad left the day after the quake in hopes of getting to the island and finding his parents but things dont look good. Thank you for your caring… I’m preying for everybody down there.

We know some folks that have been living down there for a number of years, ministering to the Haitian people. So we sent them a donation to allow them to try to meet as many needs as possible.

Thanks for doing this! You could also suggest Donors can text “Haiti” to 90999 on their cell phone to send a $10 donation to support Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. The mobile giving effort raised more than $3 million by Thursday morning, and all money raised goes to support Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. I donated yesterday using this method.
