BJ’s Coupon Policy 2011

Here is BJ’s Wholesale Club’s Coupon Policy as of April 2011.    You can check here to see it on the BJ’s website.

You can see all the current BJ’s Coupon Matchups and Deals here.

Can I use coupons?
Absolutely! BJ’s accepts all manufacturers’ coupons — including the ones that come in your Sunday newspaper — giving you additional savings on top of our everyday low prices. Plus, we offer BJ’s Members-only coupons throughout the year. After all, saving you money is what BJ’s is all about.

You can get your exclusive BJ’s coupons:

  • Online. Members, you can access and print in-Club coupons once you register with an online account on Register by clicking on “Sign In/Register” at the top of any page.
  • In BJ’s Journal, a BJ’s Member magazine
  • Through special-offer mailings
  • In BJ’s in-Club coupon flyers
  • Via email. If you are registered on, you can sign in to your online account and select “Email Options” to subscribe to BJ’s emails and receive weekly updates on Instant Coupons.

What are the guidelines for using more than one coupon?

When purchasing a multi-pack of “individual for sale” packaged items, which is a set of items that could be sold individually (each item has a barcode) shrink-wrapped and sold together, Members can combine one BJ’s-issued coupon with manufacturers’ coupons. However, you cannot exceed the actual retail price in the total value of coupons.

Examples of a multi-pack:

  • Three-pack of toothpaste
  • Two-pack of salad dressing
  • Three-pack of taco kits

Examples of products that are NOT multi-packs:

  • Box of cereal containing two bags (the bags cannot be sold individually)
  • Case of water
  • Case of soda
  • Case of motor oil

Members may also use one BJ’s coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon on a single item.

In terms of manufacturers’ coupons that are “buy one, get one free,” we will honor the coupon for items in stock as long as our price does not exceed the maximum value stated on the coupon. If the manufacturer’s coupon does not state the maximum value, we cannot honor the coupon.

We cannot accept multiple BJ’s-issued coupons on a product.

Will BJs accept a $5.00 coupon?

  • Shannon

For several months I was buying the 3 pack of SILK soymilk and using 3 mf coupons and no one had a problem then the last time I went to buy I was told that they would only take 1 mf coupon per UPC code that is visible. I’ve read the coupon policy and don’t see this substantiated or explained. Any thoughts?

  • Matthew

The coupon match up link above is not working, it’s taking you to Groupon. I would love to see some examples with multiple MC’s.

Can I use Target coupons at BJs?

  • Jessica

Why cant I print this out on my computer??

  • thaelis

Do they accept manufacture coupons printed from a computer because they toldme they didn’t at my bjs.

    • zulma

Yes they do, i use them all the time.

    • Jay

They tried to tell me that I couldn’t use internet coupons either at one of the BJ’s I go to. The ASST Manger said HER Manager said no they will not take them, but a few months prior I called customer service and the lady said yes they do take internet coupons. I think it is the mangers making up their own rules when it comes to this.

I am a cardholder with BJs…I would like a journal sent to me each month. How can I get one?

    Thank you.

  • Lois

What about diapers is that considered a pack?? Or can I use only 1 mf coupon??

    • Shannon

      Only use 1.

  • Leigh

So if I am reading this right, if I buy cereal I can only use 1 BJs coupon and 1 MC coupon. But if I buy something like a 4-pack of soup, then I could use 1 BJs coupon and 4 MC coupons? Wow, I have been losing a lot of money at BJs. I have only been using 1 MC for everything I buy.

  • Kara

    What about doubleing???

  • Melodie

Maybe this already answers my question, but I’m just having a difficult time wrapping my head around this – if I’m buying a six pack of canned beans and have a buy 2 get $1 off, it will count, right?
