Acme Coupon Policy…
ACME Markets promotes a coupon friendly shopping experience and encourages customers to participate in store, manufacturer and internet coupon use. The following policy guidelines are current, but ACME Markets may change this policy at any time and policy changes may not be advertised. Coupon redemptions are subject to the policy in effect at time of redemption. The current policy information can be discussed with individual store management but is not posted in each store.
Coupons – Definition: Coupons are a form of tender to reduce an order total based on merchandise purchased. Retailers are not required by law to accept manufacturers’ coupon. Coupons can be in print and/or in electronic form, and may be integrated into the register systems where they are deducted automatically when all purchase requirements are met.
General Coupon Acceptance Guidelines:
· Coupons are accepted in accordance to the stated requirements on the coupon at the time of purchase. These requirements include, but are not limited to: product type, flavor(s), size(s), quantities and minimum/maximum dollar purchase limits.
· Coupons are intended for one time use and cannot be redeemed more than once.
· Coupons have no cash value.
· ACME Markets only accepts original coupons and does not accept photocopied or reproduced coupons (including multiple prints of same series internet coupons).
· ACME Markets does not accept expired coupons. Printed expiration dates are verified in addition to scanning the coupon for validity.
· Coupons stating “on next/future purchase or visit” cannot be used in the transaction in which they are generated. Next purchase is defined as a separate transaction.
· The coupon redemption value on ‘Free’ coupons may not exceed the value of the item.
· ACME Markets will accept ONE manufacturer coupon and ONE store coupon on the same qualifying item.
· ACME Markets does not accept competitor coupons. (Coupons generated by any competitor with competitor logo are considered competitor coupons.)
· All applicable sales taxes are paid by the customer at the full value of the item.
· ACME Markets reserves the right to refuse any coupons at its discretion.
Manufacturer Coupons:
· Coupons issued by manufacturers contain redemption guidelines including, but not limited to: “terms of agreement”, “face value”, “expiration date” and the verbiage “manufacturer coupon”. ACME Markets adheres to all manufacturer redemption guidelines.
· ACME Markets may issue private promotion “manufacturer coupons” in advertisements that state “redeemable only at ACME Markets” in which ACME Markets is the only retailer that will accept.
· Coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will be adjusted to provide the maximum value, not exceeding the price of the item
· ACME Markets accepts internet generated manufacturer coupons that have the following conditions:
o Coupons must scan at checkout.
o Coupons must have serial numbers and follow an industry-standard format.
o Coupons must clearly indicate that they are a manufacturer coupon and have a valid manufacturer address on the printed coupon.
· ACME Markets does not accept internet generated manufacturer coupons that have the following conditions:
o FREE product without a required purchase.
o A redemption value that equals or exceeds $5.00.
o The absence of a clear and scannable UPC bar code.
o Same serial numbers (internet sites print time & date stamps on coupons and limit the number of coupons that can be printed from same computer).
o The absence of a valid manufacturer address on the printed coupon.
Store Coupons:
· Rain checks for store coupons will be given out as long as the store coupon does not state on it “while supplies last”.
· Coupons issued by ACME Markets contain redemption guidelines including, but not limited to: “terms of agreement”, “face value”, “expiration date” and the verbiage “store coupon”.
· ACME Markets offers store coupons in various forms of media including, but not limited to, print, electronic, newspaper, direct mailers, kiosks and Company websites.
· ACME Markets may issue “store coupons” in advertisements that state “redeemable only at ACME Markets” in which ACME Markets is the only retailer that will accept.
· Store coupons may require that the discount applies only with Preferred/Loyalty/Rewards Card use.
The Total Shopping Experience:
· In an effort to serve our all customers better than our competitors, and provide a timely checkout, ACME Markets requests that customers do not exceed three (3) consecutive transactions.
· Additional lanes will be opened to serve all customers in a timely manner if the current business and staffing level permits.

I have a questions if I use a $1.00 off coupon for 1 item will Acme double the coupon to $1.99 off? Or since the coupon is already at $1.00 it doesnt double?
Shannon says
they only double up to $.99, so the $1.00 would just be $1.00

I love my Acme. They truely double all coupons. If I have a .75 coupon they will double to $1.50. They will also double like coupons as long as you have purchased the correct number of items per coupon. I have not tried more than 4 like coupons. Today I went and had 7 $1 coupons all for different items. They doubled 4 of the $1 coupons to $1.98. I live in Chester County, PA.

Question:
If I am purchasing 2 toothbrushes may I use 2 different coupons? They are on sale for 2 for $6.00.
I wanted to use 1 coupon that is a buy one toothbrush get one toothbrush free.
I then wnated to use a 2.00 off coupon for the other toothbrush.
The cashier wouldnt accept the other coupon and I dont understand why. I would have still been paying 1.00 for the the toothbrushes. I didnt exceed the amount of coupons per items being bought nor was I making money on the deal.
Please explain.
paula says
The reason is that you are not paying for both toothbrushes. By using the b1 get1 free they are already taking $3 off and so one toothbrush is $3 and one is free. The b1g1 free coupon takes care of both of the toothbrushes. Now if the store had a b1g1 free sale most likely they just make each item half price, then you could use 2 dollar off q’s or the buy1 get1 free q. Hope this makes sense

ok i gotta ask what acme? I work in chester county, pa and would love to go that acme!!!! thx
Meghan says
I asked at my ACME because all of the other stores in my town double to .99. But I was told at customer service, they only double to .75. I asked if different stores have different doubling policies and I was assured that up to .75 was all Acmes. Hmmmm… If this is the case, I’ll stick to the other stores.
Liz says
I talked to one store and they said they double up to $1, meaning if you have a $.50 coupon they will double that or if you have a $.75 they will give you $.25 . But the coupons in the circular can be combined with manufacturer coupons.
Mel says
This may be a dumb question, but I new to couponing. Does Acme (or other retailers) only double coupons on certain days or always? Does doubling coupons generally apply to manufacturer or store coupons? I see that most food chains don’t include these answers in their policies. SuperFresh just says something like ‘ in accordance with our double coupon policy’. Thanks!
Shannon says
no its everyday.

Hi. I have 2 questions.
1…. Does Acme double coupons? I see that you asked that question above but I don’t see the answer even when I go to their webpage.
2…. Are there different Acme companies?
The link you give above led me to an Acme page for what appears to be an OHIO only company.
Yet I found the website for my ACME here in PA, and it’s a totally different company and is nationwide.
Are your deals for the Ohio only company or for the Nationwide one?
Thanks!
Shannon says
@Shannon,
Acme Markets is part of the SuperValu Food Chain.
Acme has 125 stores in PA, DE, MD and NJ.
Acme has a Super Card that must be used to get advertised prices.
Acme doubles coupons up to $.99. Some stores state a limit of 4 of like coupons.
Acme accepts internet printables.

1…. Does Acme double coupons? I see that you asked that question above but I don’t see the answer even when I go to their webpage.
2…. Are there different Acme companies?
The link you provide above led me to a site for Acme Fresh Markets. This appears to be an OHIO only company.
Yet I found the website for my ACME which is nationwide is a totally different company then the link you have.
Are the deals listed only for this Ohio Acme Fresh Markets store? Or are they for the ACME markets that are nationwide? If they are for the nationwide chain, then you need to update your link to the correct website.
Thanks!!
