    Thank you Reese! I didn’t get the manuf. coupon in my paper so thought I couldn’t put the deals together this week until I saw this comment!

    Re: the reply from Shannon…..

    CVS’s deals actually start at 9 PM Saturday night, so they HAVE TO HAVE the store tagged by 7 PM (store policy), but, it also means that if you shop Saturday night (which I ALWAYS DO since both fliers are in effect & even though they might be out of that week’s deals, I can get a rain check), all of the tags for the “current week” are down by noon. It’s the day shift’s job to take down tags (always by 3, but usually by noon) and the evening shift’s job to have the tags for the next week up by 7. That’s why CVS is done so early, and Walgreens as well (b/c their policy is that the flier is good for the next week starting at noon!) So, again, it gives the employees at Rite Aid some credit….we have a 24-hr. Rite Aid (just 1, the others close at 9) so that particular store generally takes their tags down a little earlier and puts up the next week’s tags up a little earlier, as well. I go there last, so I can do the current week’s shop JUST BEFORE midnight, and then the next week’s shop JUST AFTER midnight. They always ask me how I know what is going to be on sale, and it’s b/c all of these wonderful sites w/ their previews!

      Alicia,

      Not giving them credit – My store tags sometimes on say Weds, sometimes they just don’t. The management needs to get it together — not blaming the employees, just the stupid rules the management has in place. If you want to sell your sale items, make it an easy system for your employees. Again, I love Rite Aid, but working in the business world for 13 years in upper management — you’d think they would take some queues from their competitors with solid financial statements.

  3. Becca says:

    REALLY?!?! I’d love them not to change the tags on Saturday morning!!! My local Rite Aid starts changing their sales tags on Saturday mornings – I HATE going in there on a Saturday because of it. I’ve even complained but they said it was so they were done for Sunday and that I should just pay closer attention to the flyers.

  4. Reese says:

    There’s also a printable Lubriderm $1 coupon on their website: http://www.lubriderm.com/index.jhtml

    Thanks so much for these match-ups!

  5. Melanie says:

    Went to Rite Aid and bought Blue Diamond Almond Cans. Each can had a peely on it for $.60 off 1 can. The register still allowed my $.60/2 coupon to scan so here was my deal.

    Blue Diamond Almonds Can $3.49
    - BOGO
    - $.60/1 peely coupon on can
    - $.60/2 coupon from SS 4/03/11
    Total $.85 for each can!!!

    Great price for almonds!

    hi ladies,
    I was trying to put together the Neutrogena deal and found a different Lubriderm coupon. It’s labeled Manufactures Coupon across the top, but says “Available at Walgreens” on it too. Do you think Rite Aid will take it?

    • Shannon says:

      @cherylyn,

      Possibly, as long as it starts with a 5. Some will accept, some will not.

  7. Anonymous says:

    In Rite Aids defense they cannot hang tags till Sunday nor put the Sunday ads out before Sunday. It takes a lot of time to take down all the old tags and hang the new tags. They used to be able to hang tags the night before but they are not allowed to any more. Some stores don’t get a truck every week it’s every two weeks and if someone clears the shelf then the store must wait till the next truck and hope what was ordered is on it. Even when they try to stock enough for the high demand they only have so much storage space. Just thought I would give a different perspective. I love Rite Aid.. Happy Mothers day!! :0)

    • Shannon says:

      @Anonymous,
      I don’t know if thats necessarily in Rite Aid defense – maybe in the store workers defense, but not corporate :) Most stores – grocery included don’t tag until the after midnight and I walk into CVS on Sunday and its all tagged. The ads are out and old signs are down.

      I love Rite Aid and appreciate what the management does at the store I shop at – however, there is a clear reason why Rite Aid has all the issues they do.

  8. Amber says:

    Went to my RA early this morning to get shopping out of the way. No one showed up to open the store for 15 minutes. This store is a debacle. They didn’t even have the current ads out yet. Nothing was marked, and so many shelves were empty. They were well stocked with the Tylenol Precise which was good because this was the only thing I came for. However, no weekend warrior UPR printed and nothing is showing on my receipt. Don’t know if I should even bother calling customer service to see if it qualified??

    • Shannon says:

      @Amber,

      hehe do you shop at my rite aid?

      Yeah it looks like the Weekend Warrior is a no go.

  9. Angela Leh says:

    Thank you so much for your tips on Rite Aide they have really been helping me save even more weekly I just never thought to look at them as a store to go to for deals.

    Thanks,

    Keep up the good work!

    I have a free herbal esscense product coupon from one of the offers you posted. Can I buy two products, use a B1G1 coupon and the free item? I was thinking the B1G1 would attach to one product and the free coupon would attach to the other but wasn’t sure if it was legal.

  11. Maya says:

    I don’t see my favorite deal this week:
    $10 +UP when you buy $20 of Neutrogena, Aveeno, Lubriderm…

    I got Aveeno Baby Sunblock – $9.89
    Neutrogena Baby Sunblock Spray – $9.99
    Lubriderm Advanced therapy 60oz – $1.99 = $ 21.87

    coupons I used: $2 Any Aveeno (Recycle Bank), $1.50 Any Neutrogena Product (May Video Values), and $1 Lubriderm (manuf coupon) = $17.37

    So, only $7.37 after the $10 +UP rewards. I didn’t pay even that, because I used previous up rewards. This deal is better then Target deal on Aveeno Sunblock.
