     Basically if You are looking with reading as your primary function with web/video capabilities Nook is your ereader. If however You want more well rounded with emphasis on browsing &/or video then it’s a Kindle for you.

   I am looking for a e-reader like a nook or kindle but without wi-fi on it for my emotionally disabled teen daughter. She cant have the internet for personal reasons, she had a kindle with wi-fi and it turned out bad. Any ideas?

     Jenna,

     The Nook Simple Touch and the Kindle Reader are for reading books only. Most e-readers have wi-fi now, but if you are looking for just something to read on those are your best bets.
