How does a BOGO sale work with a BOGO coupon? Are you purchasing 1 item and getting 2 free?
Yup! The Rite-Aid policy states that an item featured as part of the sale – BOGO- combined with a BOGO coupon makes both items GRATIZ!

Forgive me…I’m new to this game. So you’re paying for 1 item (plus tax) and getting another 2 free (but paying sales tax on each). You’re getting 3 items for the price of 1, basically. Am I on the right track?

Hm. The 2/17 PG features a Buy olay pro-x facial moisturizer or facial cleanser and get one (1) venus embrace razor free.
Meanwhile, the Rite-Aid ad has buy a venus embrace razor get an olay body wash or lotion free.
So I wonder if you buy the Olay Pro-X facial moisturizer and combine it with the coupon and deal to get a venus embrace razor ($$$) and a body wash ($7.19 – $7.99) free!
You only have to purchase 2 items. You get 1 free with the sale and the other free with the coupon.
It is explicitly stated that it is allowed in the RA coupon usage policy

By the way, the coupons say buy one face product get another face product free. Isn’t all makeup a face product? Or are they meaning foundation/powder? The coupon shows foundation in the picture.

Your better bet is to go to the register with two of whatever you’d like (concerning cosmetics), and see if the computer takes it off automatically. If you ask the cashier, sometimes they will be so stubborn and show you the picture instead, and won’t ring it up, EVEN WHEN THE COMPUTER ALLOWS IT! If the computer doesn’t show “BOGO -2.49″, then just ask to cancel the transaction.
And your best bet is to have more than just two items to check out. This way your total isn’t literally $0.00. I only say this because even though it is perfectly acceptable to use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale item, and states it explicitly in the RA coupon sheet, you’re going to spend more time than worth it to fight with Cashier A, then cashier A’s friend, Cashier B, then assistant manager C, then shift supervisor, ETC. ETC. ETC.!!!!

WHen you say week of 3/6, do you mean (2/28-3/6), or 3/7-3/13, my ad runs from SUnday-Saturday….& I know others start on FRI or something…..Thanks for the info…I was hoping Rite Aid would run this deal so I bought extra newspapers just in case…

I am so excited about the BOGO Cover Girl next week that I’ve been having a tiny bit of trouble staying asleep–I wake up to think about the 16 money-making cosmetics I’m going to buy! I’ll brake it up into numerous $25 or $15 scenarios to use the $5/$25 or $3/$15 coupons. Man, it’s going to be fun!
And THIS week is great, too! I think R.A. is better than CVS and WAY better than Wags.
